Given their general attitude to site safety - that entire floor plan consisting of 90% pit traps, trip hazards, and randomly piled materials - I doubt they were working the digger with much attention to detail or to safety. Big Oops follows. The operator should be glad they weren't under it or at the bottom of the hill. I was both surprised and impressed when they moved out of the way during the winching. Many of Alex's audiences stand in the worst places. I was also wondering how they'd drive the digger out? Cluttered space to the left of the house? It was fun to see the difference between Alex dragging out the cable and two novices. Idea: If there's space in one of the cupboards you could have chains and straps to sell the customer to secure their rescues. Even the truckers are often left scrambling after their single 5mm chain has proved inadequate. 🎉 Next week's video: today we're winching a house up a hill after a digger dragged it off the edge. 😂❤

@Kevin-go2dw2 ай бұрын
Why does it happen: - Machine can become top heavy when drill is raised. Ground not horizontal, level or solid. Operator can put part of track over a hole they have made. Moving the machine too quickly with drill raised and then stopping causing machine to tip over. Most of it comes down to operator not reading the equipment and environment. Yes time is money, but errors tend to cost more. Hopefully in this instance no physical injuries, just damaged pride and undies. All being well by morning the machine can be operated normally. These things keep happening to keep Pepe's busy and so Josh has content. Keep up the great channel content.

25.000 lb Working load limit on the line, good that tou have 60.000 lb winch. LOL. I know it pulls les when all the line is on the drumm. But it srill pulls double of what the line is rated for. What is the point? So the winches work with less load, less strain?
@PepesTowingService2 ай бұрын
I'm not sure you understand what the different ratings are for. And I'm not sure exactly what is your question
@aljosaskrabelj84122 ай бұрын
@@PepesTowingService Well the thing I do not understand is, why winch with 60.000 lbs pulling force has a line that has only 25.000 lbs Working load limit? I know that it has large safety factor, but does that mean that you can not directly pull with full power if the winch which can pull with 60k of force coz the line WLL limits you to 25k? I am getting something wrong here? I would like to know how this works. If you have the time to explain of course. Thanks.
@scottmacdonald72682 ай бұрын
@@aljosaskrabelj8412i believe the line is distributed between both ends of the line around the block. 2 lines x 25k is 50k load limit. Also the lower winch cable might be thicker than the main one, giving the higher load limit.
@aljosaskrabelj84122 ай бұрын
@@scottmacdonald7268 We are not talking about using snacth block. If you use a block your winch is still pulling 25k. This is how snacth blocks work.
