The Centurion Mk.2 is the top reward for the War Thunder Battle Pass.
The Centurion Mk.2 in War Thunder is a Premium British Medium Tank with a fully stabilized 17 pounder that has APDS as its main round.
The Centurion is also only at Battle Rating 6.3 making it the lowest BR medium tank in the game with a 2 plane stabilizer. With excellent turret armour and decent mobility, this thing is pretty awesome!
I doubt it's going to stay at 6.3 for very long!

It's likely just temporary, to make the players buy the thing for real money. You know how Gaijin operates, this has happened innumerable times before. This tank will go up in BR in a while, and the buffs to British APDS will be restored. It is only a matter of time.

@@acedogboy8421 Individually is a huge overexaggeration. Not to mention that one-shot potential usually doesn't mean shit. If you can disable a tank faster than others, you won. Not to mention that after they fix APDS, the post-pen will be much better, because it usually shattered on thick sloped armor. Shooting a thick armor with APDS can often mean a one-shot, because all AP/APDS/APFSDS depend on shell diameter and armor thickness they shoot through when it comes to spalling damage. One of the reasons French tanks from 6.7 to 7.7 BRs can usually be as or even more efficient than APHE (because unlike APHE, AP doesn't stop on components).

Because new players buy them, get frustrated and either a) Quit, and Gaijin keeps their money for very little services rendered. Or b) Spends more money thinking they will get a better experience. Just yesterday I had 4 shatters in a row followed by a nonpen and then two more shatters on the UFP of a Jagedpanther then an IS-1, had to shoot out the Jagedpanthers tracks to not die since my round wouldn't go through then the IS joined the party I shot first he missed, then all my remaining rounds shattered or nonpenned so I died. Real nice game that one...

6.3 is just like Cent mk.3 at the start. Mk3 went to 6.7, then 7.3. I see Mk2 on 6.7 in a short time, as if it got to 7.0 it would do nothing against 8.0.

@OddBawz The player leave after the first death because they F2P, have no useable premium in their lineup, just died without achieving much and do not think using another tank will do more than feed another kill to the enemy. The repairs costs at that tier are such that F2P on the losing side you need to to place in the top with at least 3 kills to break even if you have to repair two+ tanks. Players at that tier can have a pretty good idea how their chances are and if they all they end up doing is losing silver lions while having bad time they try another match.

I've resently come back to WT after a 5 year break [pre china /sweden]. I was never a exilent player average 3-5 kills (1-3 deaths) but i enjoyed it. comeing back i'm lucky if I get a kill (even when its point blank on a m3 with a 3" gun carrier). Used to be a good game but without the abilaty to upgrade crew/vehicals easly I don't know if i'll bother continuing it's not enjoyable any more.

I used to plan to play Brits around 6.3-6.7 but after BR changes it looks bad. Finally, I bought a Centurion Action X, at 7.3, to reduce the cost of the game a bit, and that's how the set at 7.3 was created. I tend to use tanks with a lower BR, so the Chariotter does a great job even at 7.3. I also constantly use the "Great Monster Fridge". Probably someday I will be tempted by Centurion AVRE, because I like it very much, but it is cruelly expensive for my Polish pocket. I've been waiting for a discount for a long time, but AVRE somehow can't wait for this discount. For me - a Pole - playing British tanks is almost a duty, because Polish soldiers used them during WWII.

We just got a Centurion what like 2 BP ago so it would have been nice to get something a little odd and different in the BP... like a Sweden P51 basically and a tiny boat. The Old Battle Passes were WAY better when we got 4 vehicles from them like alow BR tank then a Plane and then a Boat but last but not least the Battle Pass premium tank for a reward.
