Hi! Spider nerd here! That's a Cellar spider! They're harmless to people and do a great job of cleaning up unwanted flies They can lose legs through afew means--but this is a female so unlikely to have lost her legs to a smaller male during mating It's more likely they either got stuck in her molt and she dropped them(yes they can drop their legs!) or they were damaged some other way and dropped so they don't hinder her movements They should start to grow back in her next few molts 😅❤ no need to be scared of her and she certainly doesn't want to jump on your head! She much prefers the ceiling where she can catch small flies and moths 😊

@@Mister_PhafanapolisNot to disagree at all, but to add another perspective to the conversation; i see so so many tattooers who use it as a power trip, or they think this job puts them on a pedestal where they can do anything with no consequences. This is just me speculating but think about it... - She got fired for some reason - A lot of "smoke breaks" - She's often late or doesn't even show up - The quality of her work has drastically decreased When she said that she went outside to look for her and she wasn't there, I immediately thought that she didn't go outside to smoke but went to the bathroom to...you know what. Again, I'm not accusing anyone. This just reminded me of someone who developed a similar behaviour (got fired, always late, always disappearing to the bathroom, her personality changed) and we later found out that she was using blow.

These stories where the person takes hours before they get started are so wild to me. I recently had a piece done by a visiting artist where I think we were about an hour late starting, but that was because they had a bunch of trouble with the stencil printer (given that this was not their regular studio). One of my favorite studios has a policy where the sketch and stencil is created by the artist day of, after you arrive. That means you'll likely be waiting for an hour, maybe two before you get tattooed. Even then, 1. It's expected and you know that going in, 2. The artist will still come by and ask how you're doing, if you need anything, and check how you like the design so far, and 3. The artists often still apologize for the wait as if they didn't just bang out a whole art piece in like an hour! There are so many ways to respect people's time even for things that may take longer than anticipated

Honestly, if I were you, as long as you're OK with burning that bridge and don't ever want to be tattooed by them, I would make one final request along the lines of "I have been waiting x number of months for my refund. You have x amount of time to refund me, or I will assume you are running a scam. You did not complete the job after 3 tries, all of which were due to your cancelation, not mine. You cannot take my money and not deliver, and at this point, i do not trust you to deliver. I gave you plenty of opportunities to do the tattoo, and then when you failed to do so in a timely manner, I gave you ample time to make it right by refunding me. If you will not refund me for a service you failed to provide due to your own shortcomings, I will absolutely feel the need to warn others so the same scam does not happen to them" Or something to that effect. Gotta be careful to not word it as a threat or bribe, but make it clear you will be getting a refund, or you will be announcing it as a scam

@@iloveapiano6542 I don't blame you, I would be pissed in your shoes! I just know that you would need to word it pretty carefully so it doesn't sound like you're trying to extort them, like "pay me or I will make you look bad so you lose customers/money" but also make it clear that you are not backing down, you deserve your refund, and that you are going to take it public because of the fact that they took money from you and then performed no service and have offered no refund, which is a financial scam, and will be a financial scam if they do not reimburse you for the service they failed to provide.

I agree that Ink Master started focusing too much on the negative drama instead of the art. I am I tattooed but love the art. In the first years I learned so much about the art and the incredible variety and styles.

One thing I always think about self taught vs apprenticeship vs courses is why people always assume apprenticeships don’t teach bad habits too. I guarantee mentors aren’t perfect and some will be rubbish but people feel they “need an apprenticeship” no matter what the quality

I got tattooed by Linzy Michelle who actually went home first on her season but she is literally the sweetest and kindest tattoo artist and her work is amazing! I was debating between her and another artist for a design I had fallen in love with and the other artist's assistant told me "Congratulations, she actually accepted to do this design. It will be $3,000." Linzy emailed me back so fast exclaiming how much she loved the design and she would squeeze me in months in advance because she was so excited to do it. It cost me only $600 and it looks beautiful. The way she packed in the reds is absolutely seamless and so many people compliment me on it

You should also look into Steve Tefft. He's considered a joke in the industry, and in my area. He owns a tattoo studio a few miles from where I live. I've been to other artists in his shop, and have since moved with those artists to other studios. He is rude, abrasive, and a criminal. He has hired pedos and people who deal drugs out of his shop. His poor behavior forced him to move the location of his studio to another location in the same town because he could no longer afford to rent the space from before. He's had a few COVID outbreaks of which he never told the clients. Actually upon looking further again, the piercer who was the other referenced before, seems to not be listed on 12's website anymore. There's not actually much about him online, but he is a big joke in the area, and most artists/clients around do not like him and his work has become subpar.

8:31 I know it seems like she got a pass, but it’s best for baby to stay on breast milk if that’s the norm; for people who are not flight risks, it’s a good thing to support maternal - child health as much as possible. We shouldn’t be a-holes just because the mom is one, we need to support baby even if it doesn’t satisfy our need for *vengeance* (humans say they feel the need for justice, but it’s actually rare, what we feel is the desire for revenge, in its classic sense. Justice is a human invention, vengeance is our natural go-to but it gets real murdery real fast)

I just moved in and didn’t realize there was a setting on the door handle that will make it lock from the outside no matter what. Neither of my 2 brand new roommates where there, but the landlord was able to come by within the hour to let me in. Day 2 in my NYC apartment and i was already $60 in the hole! But my apartment didnt burn down so all was good 😅
That spider is definitely a daddy long legs. Of all the spiders to have around they are the best, they can't bite humans and they get rid of a lot of bugs.

I associate early Halloween decor with a cool personality & an appreciation for the “dark season.” I associate early Christmas decor with overbearing moms & hyperactive spending. Huuuuuuge difference. Plus all nature-based religions have lots of “dark” holidays or celebrations, just like it’s 5 o clock somewhere, it’s spooky season somewhere too!

As an ex opiate addict, I’d bet my life that she’s still using. The lateness and excuses are because she needs to cop and get well before the appointment. The frequent smoke breaks and losing track of time is giving opiates if I had to guess from personal experience. No pneumonia should be going to her for a tattoo period.

Looks like a harmless cellar spider! Very helpful houseguests; very effective hunters of insects and other spiders. And don’t worry, spiders lose their legs pretty often. I frequently see spiders running around with 2-3 legs missing; 4 legs is pretty gnarly but it doesn’t necessarily mean there’s a bigger badder spider around lol

I've met her a couple times while I was getting tattooed by someone else and so glad I dodged that bullet! She was definitely milking the whole Ink Master thing back then with posters and billboards galore and was always talking about it to each client that walked in (I could over hear the convos as I was being tattooed). I was gonna make an appointment with her but when I saw how high she was, it was hard pass. During one of my appointments, I noticed her room was empty so I asked why and the owner simply replied "Drama" while shaking his head and rolling his eyes lol.

He was 1 1/2 late, FALLING asleep IN my mother’s back. He was a heroin addict. He relapsed. Kicker is… the owner SAT THERE & watched him the ENTIRE TIME. He KNEW! We ran into him yrs later with his wife & he told us NOT only that they guy passed away, but “OH YEAH, he was HIGH AS A KTIE the ENTIRE TIME he did ur tattoo, I had a stern talk with him, god that tattoo RLLY came out bad!” Wild

16:06 That does look like a cellar spider (pholcidae or commonly knows as a daddy long legs as you wrote) with legs missing. Spiders can shed legs (process called autonomy) if they get damaged or something catches them (for example another cellar spider) and they can even grow them back when they molt. You mentioned wings however which leads me to believe you were thinking of a crane fly, which are also sometimes called daddy long legs but are not spiders or members of the pholcidae family

The thing with domestic abuse or any abuse for that matter, is you should always turn around the genders. If a man said he would do it "every day all day" in response to being asked whether he would punch his partner again, (hard enough to leave a black eye), he would be ostracised by all who knew him and be given a very harsh punishment if brought before the court's, I don't think any man would try to use it as a badge of honour.
@fawn29113 ай бұрын
that's untrue though. many female survivors of dv rarely get justice.
@AmarylisFlow3 ай бұрын
For sure. All the comments would, quite rightly, be about how awful the dv was and what a piece of 💩 they are. Looking at these comments you can see the difference. Full disclosure dv by any gender is hideous and should be treated with equal disdain, sadly it isn’t.
@mercurialfox3 ай бұрын
It does seem like this issue is sort of being swept under the carpet. Abusers of all genders need to be held accountable and unfortunately it doesn't seem to happen very much, with victims/survivors not getting the help they need :(

The math is not mathing for me........... she bought an $800 gift card that had the total value of $1,200. Tamara left near what appears to be the start of the tattoo so why is there an offer of the next session to be free? By my math, she has not even used the $1,200 value she had with the deal and the offer I would think should be a refund of some of the gift card and finishing the tattoo for free.
