Hi Joel, that toolbox looks amazing and it's huge!! I wish I had the space for something like that in my little workshop but you have more drawer space in this one with the upper chest. As you know I'm just a hobby/diy painter and while my paint finishes aren't to bad as you've seen on my little channel what I still struggle with is my filler and block work, no matter how hard I try to repair small dents I can still see where they were, it's either to low or I can still see the edges of my filler I just can't seem to feather them out properly, maybe you could do a video sometime on filler work that would be great👍 Thanks Joel👌👍John UK

Try a guide coat. Guide coat your filler before sanding. You can also try guide coating the area that is going to be worked. So guide coat over the paint then block it and it will show exactly what needs to be done next. After spreading your filler and it's done curing guide coat it. Do the same between grits and make sure you guide coat past the area you're working. Helps with feather out. Also a little trick is to get a sheet of paper and rub it on the panel you just finished working. It helps with the feel of the panel. Hope this helps

Thanks for the advice, I do use a powder guide coat but from what you said I'm not using it enough so maybe using it over the paint and between grits might help. I've never heard of using paper to help with the feel of the panel (something I find difficult) I sometimes use a microfibre cloth to do the same thing which someone else told me to try. Thanks again👍👍

@@JohnWD40TC02 yeah man anytime! Yes when you use the guide coat go over tell everything turns black the darker the better. You can use guide coat powder in between grits when you wet sand for polishing panels. Helps out a lot of your going for show car finishes. Yeah micro fiber towels help to feel when you're doing body work. I like the paper cuz it's thinner and I feel it better that way. You can also use a latex glove also. It takes time on the feel but you'll get it

I’m not totally sold on the USG lockers. Kinda short. Kinda spartan.
