@@fluttershypi Yeah, but don't agree to having it painted then. The takesie-backsies sucks when you're doing thousands of dollars worth for free. He already has your car in the garage which means he spent his time on you. Which means it won't make a video. Now imagine you already prepared the car for the clearcoat and details... and then you are trying to back out. Understandable for a vintage car, but before it was looking sad. I'd rather drive a car with a potentially silly paintjob on it than one that looks like I don't care for the car. As an illustrator that only happened to me once, and that was lesson enough to ask for payment up front (or at least half) so people can't back out. I'm sure he'll make sure to get peoples written consent in future videos so they don't back out, because that's a waste of money and time.

Absolutely! I do custom nail art so different tools but same interactions with people. The clients that act like that are the ones who need your art the most. Art is therapeutic. Dude was showing symptoms of serious anxiety. You never know what art will mean to a customer. Art has kept me from jumping on more than one occasion.

My truck was stolen and they messed up everything including the paint, had no insurance and a year later, the Ca sun has ate away the clearcoat and wish I could have ran in to you. I think they used chemicals or something

As a sales person myself, I think it’s your approach of ‘painting’ the car what is making so many people say no. There are a lot of connotations to what painting means and that word definitely doesn’t do your work justice. Maybe saying, can I customize your ‘insert item here’. That workers truck with the ladders was clearly a business and they world have benefited from having their business name and logo added to it. You do amazing work! I just think you need a little different approach than can I paint it. Lots of love to your talent!

I get that and you maybe right but he is an older dude and probably did rethink it. It's a more vintage car that means a lot to him and to put a whole design on it would have changed the identity of the car way to much. I think the right decision was made to keep the car more simple with a few meaningful touches. either way Marko killed it as usual.
