That’s not true. I’m a musician and I’ve worked with a lot of men who were faithful, but I’ve also worked with a lot of men who are completely trash, but you can’t just blame the men. If there weren’t so many slutty women, the men would not be able to cheat. There were women who would go with a dog as long as he was strumming a guitar or had a pair of drumsticks in his hands. I’ve seen both sides of the coin and it’s sickening. I’m sure that Shannon wanted a traditional monogamous relationship, and a part of me empathizes with her, but another part knows she knew what she was getting when she decided to go with Gene. After all, she met him at the Playboy mansion where she was one of Hefner’s girls. She wasn’t exactly the singing nun. She had to have known Gene was notorious when it came to sleeping around. I happened across an Oprah show from 25 years ago where he openly admitted to having slept with over 3000 women, including women in music. Off the top of my head I remember him bragging about Cher and Diana Ross. Now, you’re really biased if you think those 2 didn’t sleep around. So, as they say it takes 2 to tango. Anyway, what would you expect to get when you put a playboy bunny and a self admitted woman collector together? Gene Simmons? Seriously? Gene is worst than your run of the mill rocker. He doesn’t have to be onstage to pick a woman or multiple women. Putting Gene in a crowd of women and expecting him to not have sex would be like putting Robin Williams on stage and expecting him not to tell a joke. In all honestly, Shannon knew Gene couldn’t be loyal. She knew it prior to dating him and she knew it through all of those early years, yet she made the choice to stay. I mean, it’s gotta hurt to give most of your adult life to one person and know they can’t or won’t do the same and as old as Gene is, you would think he would commit to her. I heard Gene say what I’ve heard a few other men say. He said he doesn’t think of sex the way most women do. He separates sex from love. I know what he’s trying to say and I would agree with him that sex has nothing to do with love. The way God created us, sex is something born of love. Unfortunately, sex is the greatest weapon in the devil’s arsenal through which he can cause tremendous pain and suffering. God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah, because the entire population was soaked in sexual immorality . Gene and Shannon were both living immoral lives. She said they met in the grottoes. That was a shallow pool built to mimic a cave like setting with semi private alcoves. Naturally, there were lots of other women there and they weren’t there just for looks and a man like Gene certainly wasn’t there to just look! They hooked up that night and whatever followed, followed, but in all fairness to Gene, she knew he was a rake. She also knew he continued to see other women and he never asked her to marry him. Right or wrong, he made the rules as to how he wanted to live and she lived by them. However, I do believe that Gene highly favored her above all, because he committed to her in ways that he wouldn’t with any other woman. He actually built a life with her and had children. So, I do believe he loves her. I think Gene is a man of his word. I think he probably told Shannon what he was and who he was and laid out his terms. I think that’s saying a lot about how he feels for Shannon, because she’s the only woman he has ever committed to. I think she accepted those conditions believing that one day he would stop wandering. Women are by nature, nurturing and will do things purely out of emotions. I believe she loves him and coming from her own less than conventional lifestyle, she was willing to accept what conventional women won’t. Unfortunately, it didn’t. I think they did finally marry, but you have things like nasty Joy Behar who deliberately put Gene on the spot and it looked as if he and Shannon were already upset over a woman or women. I knew when Shannon pulled Gene’s glasses off of his face that she was raging inside. Furthermore, I don’t think Gene is the man that you want to jerk his glasses off , especially in national tv. Had it not been Shannon, that would not have gone well. That to me says that he truly cares about her . He didn’t want to hurt her feelings , but Joy kept poking the bear and Joy has the morals of an ally cat, so if she had a conscience she wouldn’t have done that. Shannon made a decision to be with Gene. They have 2 lovely children, she’s extremely wealthy, she has everything money can buy. The other side of that coin is that she married a man that she knew had already been with thousands of women before her and would not make a commitment to be monogamous. But, for you to say that any woman who marries a musician should expect him to whore around is an insult to men! Not all human beings are whores and whore hounds.

That show, was one of the reality shows where most of what you saw was premeditated. It was done well. Partly because both parents were actors. Maybe not respected actors, but still actors.
