Nice aesthetic upgrade from the bins. I hope you'll post more species tours as your collection grows.

Thank you! I will be featuring a lot of plants in coming videos, in a less formal / non-tutorial type of format. My plan is to have a bit more fun with my videos and not have all of them be crazy like this tent one.

Thank you so much for this! I've been having problems with my tent sent up, and this solves pretty much all of them. Also, your plant collection is beautiful 😍

I'm building something similar to grow oyster and lion's mane mushrooms. The main differences is I need a humidifier instead of a light and limited air circulation. Very clear, precise, and complete instructions! Very impressive tutorial.

lol, I have been thinking of the exact thing you have built for a while. I keep dart frogs but I enjoy the plants as much as the animals.. Thanks you for such a detailed build, even though I think this is a great idea I need to check myself sometimes, my brother already calls my house the museum.

Love this! Stumbled upon AC Infinity recently. Going to try it for my snake. Love the integrated system.
@AnotherWorldTerraria2 ай бұрын
Awesome. My concern with a tent as a snake enclosure is all of the openings in the tent which they could escape through. You would have to put added security on all the access holes.

Great video! I am wondering how do you intend to manage pests, bacteria, mould etc. from spreading given you have more plants in the tent. Any advice?
@AnotherWorldTerraria11 ай бұрын
It's definitely a big risk compared to keeping plants separated out into bins. The key is only putting plants in which have been through a long quarantine. But yes, pathogens can get in undetected (and have). The key then is to try to reduce spread by either removing the affected plants, or spraying chemicals to manage the issue.

@@AnotherWorldTerraria Do you have soil mites?
@AnotherWorldTerraria11 ай бұрын
There are various species of mites in some of my bins and plants, yes. I have not tried to identify them. A number of them are probably predatory and do not harm the plants.
@ewe39211 ай бұрын
@@AnotherWorldTerraria thank you for the reply. I always wonder about this. I have mites in a tent I have put up, I wondered if it was worth gassing them out! I never hear creators discuss how they go about their populations

Great video! But no luck with the gorilla glue for our outdoor grow tent. Over time, the humidity reacted and turned the glue into an unsightly“Elmers glue white” and separated. However the tape held up perfectly. We cut the window smaller so if something went wrong we can do over this spring.
@AnotherWorldTerraria10 ай бұрын
Oh no! Sorry hear that. I have never had the GG clear grip come apart, even when used in situations where it is constantly touching water (not just humidity, but actual water). It does however sometimes turn whitish in very wet conditions. I'm glad the tape worked though and you were able to come up with a solution to your situation.

could you explain in more detail what the mesh material functions for? does it retain moisture and might grow algae?
@AnotherWorldTerraria6 ай бұрын
Retains humidity / helps equalize humidity, absorbs excess water from spraying plants, and looks nice in contrast to the plants
@pealseypix6 ай бұрын
Thank you! The link to the material from your video is not available.. could you tell me if this is pretty much the same thing?

Oops, I cannot figure out how to attach a photo. Anyway, it is material to cover speakers Speaker Grill Cloth Stereo Mesh Fabric for Speaker Repair. If not, what should I look for?
@AnotherWorldTerraria6 ай бұрын
It's hard to say without looking at detailed photos because it can vary in thickness. I looked around and found this one Amazon which is available currently. Make sure to check the measurements of the product and of the size of tent you're making, so you buy enough fabric. amzn.to/3X4DcDx

Great work! I made something similar around a year ago however I don't have a fan removing air, I was worried about the humidity crashing. Sorry if I missed it however when does the exhaust fan come on? Is it on a timer or does the humidistat/thermostat control it??

What is the humidity and temperature
@AnotherWorldTerraria8 ай бұрын
RH varies throughout the day from 90 up (Probably higher than it should be for some of the plants, but reducing the RH dries the plants out faster, and most plants are doing fine). Night temps are close to whatever the ambient room is, and day temps are ambient plus about 10F

Homie is back from the dead. attempting a 3 gallon UNS rimless mossarium. would you reccomend RO, Distilled, or treated tap water to hydrate the mosees? (Tropical species)
@AnotherWorldTerraria11 ай бұрын
I used to use distilled, now I use RO. If your tap water quality is extremely good (TDS < 30) you could get away with using it, but personally I wouldn't. I like TDS 0.
@yaptownUSA11 ай бұрын
@@AnotherWorldTerraria TDS in my cities tap water is extremeley high. however i lack an RO system. Any way i could acquire RO water via bottles or would i be able to modify distilled water in anyway?
@AnotherWorldTerraria11 ай бұрын
In order of preference, I would recommend the following: (A) Buy an RO system, or (B) Buy distilled or RO water if it's available and affordable, or (C) Get an electric distiller and make distilled at home (this is very slow and expensive to do)
@yaptownUSA11 ай бұрын
@@AnotherWorldTerraria Distilled water is going to have to do for now. thank you for the advice and love your channel man.
@AnotherWorldTerraria11 ай бұрын
Distilled water is actually the best. The reason I don't use it anymore is due to the cost of purchasing or making it. RO is just waaaay cheaper and faster. So if you use distilled, you're actually better off in terms of purity.
