Statistics state, theoretical evidence dictates that anyone in recovery should be high or dead. The fact that we’re not is..
A. Miraculous = miracle
B. Defies logic
If we can grasp that, then it’s easier to accept the unfortunate reality of a person who has relapsed for the first or 20th time…
The only time we fail is when we quit trying to quit…
After 22 years of alcoholism, 13 treatment centers, I am over 7 years sober ❤️🙏🏻
Our history does not dictate our future, but it can most certainly guide and direct it.

Novak and Russell Brand are the greatest spokespersons ever for addiction. They both lived the life, no question about it.

Brandon. i am almost two years sober from alcohol and started college (8/29/22) for chemical dependencies and human services. i have followed along with you since viva la bam. i must say it is a god damn honor and fills me with proud feelings to follow now in true honest sobriety with you. Still a big fan! thank you for being so inspirational that i hope to do the very same as you! One day at a time is a real blessing!

And there is so much fucking money in it. You're talkin about any where from 20 grand to 100 grand for a couple weeks at a rehab facility. . and the top of people he caters to are the Uber rich and they will keep going back to these places like they are a freaking motel

Relapse rate is high because the 12 steps isn't for everyone. Recovery isn't linear.
