I have enjoyed your videos and homeschool tips and tricks. I was hesitant to homeschool because my son has a speech delay and is being further evaluated. However, hearing from a mama woth a child who also attended speech therapy made me feel relief and less alone. I also love how you incorporate your African American heritage and stories into your curriculum. It's a breath of fresh air.

Thank you so much 😊! Yes I felt the same way with my daughter’s speech delay. However, the support I have received through therapy has really gave me the confidence in myself. You can do it if you desire it !!! ❤️❤️❤️

Some school districts you can get speech, OT, other services without attending school. Our district does this for preschool and kindergarten only.

I use my iPad for my kids. When I'm working with my son, my daughter is on Kahn Academy Kids or Lucas and Friends, and vice versa when I'm working with my daughter. They love Kahn Academy and Lucas Friends.

Yes I love Khan Academy too !!! Another pro is you don’t need the internet to use it either so it’s great for the go!!!

I just found your channel while researching Oak Meadow, thank you for the helpful videos! I am considering OM for my 7th grader next year for Language Arts, but already had other ideas for History. Do the two go so hand and hand that the LA wouldn’t work without the history? Thanks!

Do you have any tips for how you store ideas and notes? I seem to have constant lists in all different places with notes on resources, websites, excursions, books, ideas and plans for future homeschool activities but then I can't seem to organise them in a useful way for when I need to refer back to them!

I keep a running tab of future plans in the notes section in my phone also in the back of my homeschool planner ❤️

Hi Brittany, Do you know what the program is called for IEW where the teachers would be grading the kids papers? I have 3 kids currently doing S&S IEW and that would be amazing if someone else can take that load off my plate and grade their papers!!!
