Thanks for all your great videos on OM! I couldn't find much more information on KZbin about the curriculum. We just ordered the grade 6 package (minus the math) and are so looking forward to it! Question: where'd you find the video links that go along with the lessons? I can't find them on the website or any of the emails they've sent me.

Thank you for this review! I love your videos. Brielle has really grown this past year; I really love her artwork. I do have a question about Oak Meadow history. I'm considering doing 6 but do I need to do the English and history since they go together, or can I just do the history? We're testing it out and so far, my son is really loving the history.

Great video! Love seeing Bri's thoughts on the curriculum and seeing her projects. She's a very talented artist! You guys are a year ahead of us, but I love being able to see what we have to look forward to. You mentioned you'd like to see various schedules to show how to plan it. Now that you've used it this year, how would YOU recommend planning it out? I know there is a checklist at the beginning of each lesson, but how did you decide what to do on what days? Was it confusing to have separate books for each part (english/social studies/science)? In 4th grade everything besides math is in the same book. Thanks!

Thank you so much for your great videos! My daughter is about to start 6th grade Oak Meadow and we are both so excited. I remember you mentioning there was an alternative book list for books your child may not find enjoyable. Do you know where I might be able to find that? Thanks so much in advance!!

I am so torn between taking the leap into OM for English or piecing my own LA together. We currently use IEW Structure and Style, wordly wise for vocab and I was looking at Fix it Grammar for the grammar piece along with some literature guides. OM seems so pricey to have to still add pieces in.....would you be satisfied using just OM for English with our supplements? I have read quite a few reviews where people still add in other programs, financially that would be tough. I have looked for used and found someone with level 7 but I am still worried about it. Any guidance would be appreciated. My child is a very artsy person and really does not enjoy school in general but knows it is something that must be done before she gets to crafting :)
@brittanyolga6 ай бұрын
My honest opinion is to not stretch yourself or your budget. OM was amazing!! However I think with you would still have an awesome year with your plan of writing, grammar, and fun literature guides for ELA. ❤️❤️

Do you think Oak Meadows English is a better way to go instead of IEW?
@brittanyolga6 ай бұрын
OM English is very good but it is not as structured and it’s more free flowing than IEW. IEW really holds your hands, while OM gives you the tools you need to be successful. Hopefully this makes sense. ❤️
