My son had the same color but has gotten browner as he has gotten older but now I’m taking such pleasure in his 7 year old daughter having the same color. People who are giving negative comments usually are living in a negative life. When they attack it has nothing to do with you. It is always a reflection of them. Mental health is a hard topic. I want you to know that you have been a HUGE part of me being happy and upbeat. You are strong, smart, kind and compassionate. You have this brilliant sense of humor that is delightful and brings a lot of laughter into my life. There are a few creators on here that I have been depending upon to get me through this junk right now. With the negative comments you see, just imagine who they are and WHY the are focused on you. Are they jealous of your success? Are they so miserable they seek to bring others into their misery. Most negative comments come from those that have such a negative view of themselves, they can't feel 'right' unless they are trying to create that in others. Which means for you.. You are having an effect on them. Pity them... reach out to them with love... because they are probably hurting. (Unless they are socio or psychopaths or narcissists--then they are all different kinds mental disorder issues. )

When you mentioned why you're cautious about doing standup comedy, that was kind of a shock to me. As someone who also uses self-depricating humor, that's not something I really thought about until you mentioned it. And honestly, you're right about it. Why do women have to use the kind of humor that focuses on their image? And why is that so common among women? Usually, when I do it, it's more focused on mistakes of mine or how clumsy/awkward I get. I'm just shocked at how right you are about body image in standup comedy.

Charlotte! Buy a large picture like inch thick frame for cheap, from like a thrift shop or a yard sale or something like that. Look for one that’s about an inch larger (vertically & horizontally) than that vent cover. Remove the glass & backing from the frame, affix a frame hook the the FRONT of the frame edge, then affix whatever poster you like to the BACK of the frame, making sure it’s the same size to hide the frame totally. Then, hang the frame over vent, that way the opening without the glass & backing will fit over where the vent cover is, because it’ll be empty it’ll have space for the vent cover to fit inside and hide it nicely ♥️

I didn't know so many things about you Charlotte, thanks for sharing!!! I'm a chubby girl and it gives me a lot of dysmorphia to think that a slim girl like you would still need to lose weight for some reason as you alluded to it in this video. I've never wanted to be in the spotlight, I was always very shy growing up, I wanted to be away from everyone all the time because I was heavily bullied in school because I have a disproportionately big head and I was made fun mercilessly in school so my brain associated "other people, I will be in pain." How did you survive the bullying? Many people, especially queer younglings get bullied mercilessly in school and some of them even commit suicide because of the bullying, while I see others that were also bullied but turn out to have successful careers and they heal, how do people do this? It took me decades to find out who I truly am and once I started my transition (I'm a transgender woman, M to F) then I started to actually enjoy life and chronic depression went away. Sometimes I think it is easier for cisgender people to recover, what's your secret to a healthy life after being a victim of bullies? I can't even imagine what would have happened to me if I had come out when I was in grade school, I was already bullied without them knowing I'm transgender.

What I like about your channel, is that you're genuine and feel like a reason person instead of those "influencers" who are as fake as can be. Those negative comments could be anywhere, those ppl always find someone to pick apart as they get pleasure from it. Ofcourse we won't give them the satisfaction that they'd succeed in hurting your feelings. I wish continued growth for the channel and send my best wishes to you and your family :)

I was having a bad day trying to learn a new complex job, and I started crying and told my supervisor/trainer that I must be stupid because learning this was so hard". I will never forget what she said. Kathy, your having a bad day, you are not a bad person". Hope this could help others out there who are struggling too! Love your show Charlotte!

Charlotte, I have a lot of emotional issues and your work has been my respite, lately. Thank you so much. You’ll never know how much it means to be distracted like this. I tell so many people about your channel. And I would love, love, love to see you star in a movie, tv series, Broadway show, or all of the above. You deserve it. Your talent is so evident.

ULTIMATE HISSING STORY!! When I was about 20yrs old I was pulled over by a Georgia State Patrolman, I was driving my boyfriend was in the passenger seat and I dress in gothic clothing style. So the cop comes to the passenger window, I roll down the window, because we were on the highway, and the cop asks why I was speeding and cut off a person driving. I looked over at him and hissed like a cat, my boyfriend looked up to the cop and said, "Sir, Ssshhheee's not okay." The cop looked back at me, kinda did a shiver motion, and told me to get to my destination safer but soon. The cop turned away and walked back to his car, got in, and through his speaker thing told me I had to pull off before he could. I drove home without getting a ticket and my boyfriend was scared of me since that episode. He tried to get me into therapy after that. Great video Charlotte Dobre

I ADORE Hannah Gadsby!!! I have seen pieces of Nanette and Douglas over and over again. Her timing is brilliant! I try my best to be a positive person all the time, but I do suffer from depression so it's not always easy. I do try to be positive in my KZbin videos and my subscribers have come to expect that. One time, when I was going through a particularly bad stretch, I dropped the positivity in one video to talk honestly about what I was going through and I was hurt and shocked when the feedback was basically "We don't want to hear that; we watch you to feel better about ourselves, not worse." I almost quit KZbin over that, but I'm still plugging away at almost 8 years. Keep doing you!

Hi Charlotte, I am going to go ahead and write a pretty long post. I have to tell you, I found your channel because of a fluke (I am not a native speaker, don't know if it is well written) and it has become my favorite (and only to be honest) in regards of this trend of influencers or whatever. Anyways I am thankful that you speak about mental health so freely and putting yourself out there. I hope you know you are a pretty smart woman, not to metion funny. What you are doing is great to watch because you are so spontaneous and just chill about being stupid (not that I think you are, quite the contrary), whereas we are always being subjected to this idea that we have to be perfect and dashing all the time. When in reality we all are a little bit stupid, or better ignorant about certain stuff and in certain moment. So, just before I go, I really hope to see more of your content which is tremendously funny and clever, always gives me a laugh and helps me cope with my anxiousness. Thank you and keep going. We will most likely see you acting in a renowned movie soon.

As a natural redhead, I can say good call on not dying your hair!!! I bleached (not actual bleach, but platinum blonde) from 17 until 20, and it was a HUGE mistake. I am 40 ish and my hair is just now coming back as it’s natural red. I died it the closest red I could find for a long time. I am Scottish, Irish, and German American with pale skin and lots of freckles. You are stunning, and I love that you have embraced your natural red hair, as we are RARE! I actually have a T-shirt that says “only 2% of people in the world have red hair, so basically I am a magnetic unicorn.😂 I have another that says “God have me red hair because he knows I need a warning label”. Love it

@@lizicadumitru9683 Each to their own, I guess. Or maybe it's the nature of the problem - more of a challenge than something negative would work for me. I have to admit that I could do with a few less problems right now. My brain is not enjoying them, it's in "make them go awaaaaaaaaay!" mode. :) I admire your fortitude, I kinda need some. Where'd you find yours?
@lizicadumitru96834 жыл бұрын
@@graciep.6984 I'm not a fan of problems either, ha! It's kind of like drama that people are drawn to. Sometimes I think we humans are our worst enemies 😔. I've been "lucky" to not have a drama filled life (has been boring 😆) so I feel like I haven't filled my plate to where I'm jaded or don't want to deal with more. Also I like problem solving, call me weird. In the end, it's really about not letting the little irritating things get to you (life trauma or death is another issue). If my problem hasn't cost a broken leg, lost house or any other serious issue of such it's not worth my worry.
