I really love when non-black artists try to master black hair, because a lot of them never even try to learn the diversity of hair types! The industry is moving away from that now (look at Encanto, the hair was all amazing), but historically even Disney wasn't good with black hair. Keep up the good work! I am just aware that I've mostly grown up in an environment where diverse hair hasn't really been very relevant to me!! I'm here repping my white folk who use these videos to study and learn!

When i decided to go natural, my hubby wasnt excited. I explained the damage the relaxer did. He still wanted straight hair. I decided that this decision was for me. He didn't like me natural but i did. He had to accept me.

I’ve changed my hair type. I went from 4c to 4b/4a. Then again maybe I always had that type of hair and I just didn’t know how to moisturize and properly take care of it because it would curl if I put gel in it, but the curls never stayed . It’s taking me a lot of research to get to this point. Im still learning and trying to get it to how I like it.

One question for hair cutting i watched ur vid and i think i need to cut alot but idk and am scared and dont trust salons do u have any advice (and i dont rlly trust anyone else rlly that much but i kinda trust my sis and mum)

My advice is to make sure ur hair is either blownout or straightened and to cut LITTLE by little. Dont cut off too much in the first cut cuz u might end up cutting off too much. And if ur hairs already long, always make sure to not cut too much from the front if you can. U dont wanna have micro bangs by accident
