Life is for living and humour is the spice of life. Ant seems to be the epitome of both and I hope to see him in future videos. Who needs dumb soap operas when there is so much more substance in the real world. Well done, Jack, for putting this up.

It was very generous and brave of Ant to share his grief and healing, I am of a similar age and we could all do with 12 months at such a place, congrats to you Jack and your family for giving him the opportunity.

I could see the hurt on Ants face just prior and whilst talking about his wife. I lost my dad to cancer in 2015. By the time he found out we only had 4 months left with him. I still can’t talk openly about it and haven’t dealt with it. Sorry not trying to do that whole ‘woe is me’. I’m just saying that Ant is bloody strong for talking about it, let alone putting it out on KZbin. Ant sorry for your loss Sir. Go out and enjoy your new adventure and stay safe brother. And hats off to the Carmody’s for looking out for you.

Wasn’t expecting that. Ant it was great having you on the channel. Some of those hypotheticals with Jack out on the track were classics, the Harold Holt one comes to mind. Sounds like a stint on the station has been great for you. Wishing you all the best Ant. Hope to see the occasional appearance in the future.

Have loved every moment Ant, you are my favourite type of Hero, you don’t realise the gift you have shared amongst your fellow countrymen. Good luck with your journey through life from myself and half a million others that are now fans of Ant,, god bless you.

Oh wow. I knew Ant had a back story, but it never crossed my mind it is what it is. My heart sunk when you told us Ant. I'm so sorry. I don't know how you'd pick yourself up, rebuild your life after losing your long term love like that. I'm really glad to know that being at Prenti helped you do this. I'm sure your wife would have wanted that for you. The country out there does have something special about it, for sure. I ran away to the desert to 'find myself' many years ago. I never imagined I'd be out there for 9 years, but I was... loved every minute of it and it really did shape who I am today. There's something super special about the people who inhabit this kind of country. You will be missed and I for one look forward to seeing you pop back up at Prenti.

Well that filled in some of the puzzle, Thanks Jack & a big thanks to Ant for baring your sole to the world after going through the loss of your wife. They say time is a healer, but you never forget. I lost a sister @42 to cancer 27 years ago, still miss her. My wife has had 6 ops in 7 years for cancer and she says it's living with the ?maggot in your head" that's the hardest. Jack, you're walking the way i'm feeling. I'm staring down the barrel of another knee replacement after an MRI last month. That will add to two hips and the other knee, so i'll have the Quadi. All the best Ant for your future endeavours and look forward to you making a guest appearance in the future. 👍👍🏍🏍

That's what families should do for all the family members who at one time or another need a little help getting through something that causes them to lose their focus on life, and without someone willing to take the time to help them find their way back. Well we all know how that goes more often than not without someone willing to give that person a little confidence in themselves.

All those flys remind me of milking cow’s in the summer months, you get eaten alive. Not forgetting irritable cows trying to “kick your head off “ ! Thank God I got into ExxonMobile and retired 10+ years ago after serving thirty years 🙏🏻. I was a Heavy Goods truck mechanic initially at a refinery depot, before training as a Process Operator and later a shift leader and control panel operator at Fawley Refinery, Hampshire, UK. It was stressful but , not as stressful as having to repair my in-laws (wife’s family) machinery. Dad survived the Japanese prisoner of war camp in Burma, and the railway line. He loved the Aussie’s but the enemy gave them a hard time.

I thought Ant was closely related to Tim way back when he talked about Maryland on the Tarwonga Road. My relatives, Humphrys (Rocky Pool) and Piesse families were on the same road. How far along the road from Piesseville was it?
