While I do think he was in it a lot, I think I get what you mean. Despite how present he is in the movie, it felt like there was something missing in his story. We're told how he ends up in the QR and how him and Janet meet, but were not shown or told much about him before that. We don't really know what kind of world he comes from, how the other variants were able to exile him, how different and much smarter he is than others from his home world, how he came into contact with his varients the first time, etc etc there's def a lot more of his origin and where he comes from that they could have shown. Like I think about Thanos in infinity war, you really get a lot of information about what he'd been doing up to that point, what his home planet was like, how and why he started his conquest for the infinity stones, he felt really flushed out and his motivations were understandable. We don't really get that feeling with Kang. We know he's a conquerer, but why does he want to conquer? What in his past makes him feel like he has to do what he does? Idk maybe I just missed it in the movie but I feel like there could have been more to him

This was a fun movie. 💛 Kangs buildup throughout the first 45minutes, the Lang family dynamics, Quantum realm, the visuals. Paul Rudd was surprisingly the highlight for me. Kang was badass. I'm glad he was just another variant. Not the REAL Kang. The 2 credits scenes. True, I would've wanted a more vicious Kang but this version was intimidating too. And M.O.D.O.K. 😂 They tried though. I liked with the Mask on. Overall, it was a 7/10 for me. 💛

I think the ten rings are kang tech. Circles/rings are used by kang for everything. His ship, the power core for his ship, the gigantic version of his ship he was gonna use to take over everything. Hell, even his language is circles (can be seen in the movie). They also give the user longer life; in other words, it helps them master time. I think the signal they're putting off at the end of shang-chi is a signal to a kang variant, maybe signaling a change in ownership? That they're no longer in possession of who that kang variant put his trust in. A more meta reason, is the kang dynasty avengers movie is going to be directed by none other than shang-chi's director

It was wierd how this Kang was, because usually Kang has a time machine in his suit, but this one uses a ship to travel, and ants were able to kind of get through Kang's force field, because Kang's force field in the comics has tanked attacks from Thor's hammer, Eternals I think, Hercules, Namor, and even the Silver Surfer's attacks, so I feel like Kang's force field should have been way more powerful.
