Phenomenal shoe. Switched from Romaleos 3XD and noticed the stability increase immensely, especially in the heel. Great for wider feet. Once you break the shoe in, there's plenty of flexion in the toebox. 10/10 shoe.

Althoug I like the kinesiology side and drills from SU, I still don't know why Anta or Luxiaojunbarbell didn't sue him for publicity trash their shoe, that was too much. Now we all know why he was doing that. Still I think this marketing strategy sucks, just like the quality of the shoes he colaborate, after seeing the reviews about them.

Thanks for the review, Sika Strength! Been lifting in Antas for about a year. Like the weight. Went from Leistung II. The heel height is vastly different in those two. almost fell backward in the Antas on my first snatch session. Much lower. So much more stable. Good for skinny feet .

The Anta's fit my average-wide foot well too. I don't have a 'wide' foot but it is a meaty man foot. Still feel wonderful.

These are my favorite kicks, Ive had legacy one, velaasa strake, adipowers and rom 2 (yes, I have a shoe fetish), and these were hands down my favorite. Definitely go a half size or even full size down from rom 2s/legacy 1

What did you think about the veelasa
@mattias9411
@mattias9411 3 жыл бұрын
@@travelingmusician3135 higher wedge, Im a fan of the wooden heel, they are pretty heavy (same as legacy 1 and rom 2 imo), the forefoot is almost more narrow than the adipowers and the synthetic doesn't stretch at all (Ive owned them for almost two years now). The wedge isnt long/gradual (more slanted like a playground slide) so if you ordered a size down like most weightlifting shoes your foot will slide forward and your toes all adduct into a point. Id order your regular size in them. Overall, honestly man, they're my least favorite boot I have. Big style points, but I think anta, reebok or nike are much better products

I used to own a pair, they felt harder on my joints than my old Reebok Lifter Plus. Also I didn't like them as much for snatching, I felt almost too upright. Recently got the Reebok Legacy 2s, partly on your recommendation and I love them. Really good balance between stability and athleticism. My old Reeboks were too unstable, the Antas were too stiff.

idk why but these hurt the bottom of my feet a lot when i was wearing them. i loosened the top strap a little and it helped but eventually switched to rom2s. but when i was wearing them, my squat in particular felt really good, probably cause of the raised heel height compared to the rom2s. and yea they're heavy, felt like i was wearing a pair of boots lol

due to the stiffness of the base/sole I think, same thing happened to my feet with Nike Romaleos 4, the shoe is very stiff and boot like. My outter foot muscles would ache . Now in the Reebok Legacy Lifter 2, much more flexible at the front of the shoe, nothing but comfort :)
