For the ice storm ability if you do not hold the ability down for the entire duration and don't get that big ice blast at the end, it does not go on cooldown. You can use it immediately after so its really good as a spammable primer.

I was using Ice Storm, Lightning Arc, and detonating with my melee, felt really good during the demo. [Edit]: Lightning Arc to kill shields, Ice Storm to freeze and melee to combo the spread out. Still hoping Colossus gets some buffs :)

Interceptor was the first one i made. Check the description or my channel to watch it. Also I think storm has the worst mobility in the game. No double jump, and his jump is really floaty. If you hold jump he goes a bit higher, but its really slow.

I noticed the storm doesn't always consume the primer after a combo unlike the other javelins. Also, some abilities can hit weak points for extra damage. Great video, by the way.

I am currently maining in the storm as I have finished the story campaign. For the combo that I am using is binary star(living flame) and ten thousand sun(buring orb) both are lengendary.

I've found that running 1 element on Storm is gimping yourself. In my personal experience with the Storm during the open demo, I was best off bringing Fire and Ice, or Ice and Lightning. With Ice being the Primer in every case.

Loving your videos so far. Just want to point out that your info on burning orb charges is wrong though. You said it has 10 charges, small fireballs costing 1 charge and big costing 5 charges. The ability has 5 charges and both small and big fireballs both cost 1 charge.

just took a closer look at the footage and you are correct. Not sure how i miss read that. This is interesting, the way i described it is the way it should have been lol. Cause why would you ever cast small fireballs if the big ones do 5x the damage... The small ones are a bit of a waste...

@@Channel5Gaming The big ones only do 2x damage compared to the small. Big ones are nice for their AoE and you can charge them from behind cover. Small ones are nice to finish something off. You can also shoot all 5 small ones very quickly and do more damage than big ones in a smaller time frame.

Upon further inspection the charged and uncharged fire orbs have different properties aside from the obvious damage, DPS, and AOE. The uncharged shots do not combo and acts as more of a physical projectile. It can destroy the supply dumps, ores, scar mini bases etc. While the charged shot does show damage numbers, it does not affect the said targets in the slightest.

So i think the storms ult should keep the area you effect with the element the entire time you are setting the other ones and then you press a fourth time to detonate them all to apply detonation.

I use a lighting blast and fireball. lighting blast melts them damm shields on hunters that are hugely op right now . and fireball dose lots of combos and high aoe damage is you building into it.

I made a mistake with Storm when I had a Binary Star that increased gear use by 300% so I could launch it 4 times instead of 1 doing 985 damage each and I scrapped it because I got one with 200 more damage but only 1 use. I regret it so much.

you get them through random loot drops, playing on hard gives you a higher chance at better loot

@@nayru1855 Chance of better loot yes, but not more loot. IF you are looking to get all the gear unlocked as quickly as possible, easy mode is actually better. Since you get just as many greens and blues. I don't think Hard is balanced right for the Demo, as it is not possible to get Epic or higher. Therefor loot on Hard for the demo isn't actually better at all.

secondary shield. You don't use either of these, they are essentially recharging health bars, but instead blue shields. They recharge when you stop taking damage for a while.

Thats probably with masterwork gear. There is some that increases your blast seal damage by 120% or so and then another one which increases it by another 40ish %. If you use both masterwork items, you can smack the shit out of enemies with your blast seal.

Soooo flame burst doesn't light enemies on fire. Unless the fire ability primes the enemy, it will not light enemies on fire. Flame burst is just a dmg ability. Also, I don't think Storm is just a prime support class. The dmg alone from Glacial Spear multi detonating with weak point multiplier is ridiculous. But anywho, I've seen endgame gameplay and having a shield destroyer is HUGE for Grandmaster 1. So I'll be an electric Storm main and leave the armor enemies to my teammates with their Acid.

his combo doesn't make him good at priming. chain comboing freezing doesn't prime, it just freezes. black ice does however freeze AND prime close enemies to the one you just killed. also, his support skill doesn't reduce cooldown times. it increases recharge time. 50% recharge speed = 33.3% cooldown reduction. 100% recharge speed = 50% cooldown reduction. 150% recharge speed = 60% cooldown reduction. and again, you say he has no impact or blast abilities. that's false. an ability must be either impact or blast. ice storm for example is an ice blast ability. shock burst is an electric impact ability. were these things actually different before the game released? there are more outdated/wrong informations in this video. people should know that.

Wrong, absolutely wrong... you can in fact hover over a massive battle for a very long time (as long as it is in an open area) as you can actually Out Range Turrets and most of the ranged unit firing ranges except for snipers, which you just use your dodge to avoid being sniped down >.< I should know this as i had to use this method to SOLO the HARD MODE Strong Hold and i did so with no Deaths.

Why do people keep making breakdowns and have no idea what there talking about. So many errors, the same errors that all these content creators make. its like one person made a terrible and incorrect video then all parrot that same shit. The gameplay on the screen disagrees with him half the time. Ice Storm: only goes on cooldown if you use the big pulse, so the best way to use it is to not let that go off unless you really need to, as you can just endlessly chain mini pulses. So you basically only use the large pulse when your detonator is off cooldown. Burning Orb: only uses one charge no matter if you use a large or small blast. Rapid small blasts are faster dps, but if you spam large blasts you can endlessly chain fully charges Burning Orbs. Large orbs are slower hits and double the damage, but you can fire all 5 small blasts over the time it casts one large blast. That's where the gameplay choices are on that. "Do i need the burst, or is sustained damage better right now?" AoE Spread: i did testing and it seemed to me that the spread targets get the effect, but are not primed. I can see why, because if your spread targets got primed and then a colossus mortar hit and combo them all, that would be broke dick. This could be wrong, but i tested this with me trying to combo the spread targets and my allies trying as well. Probably falls under the "same effect cant be comboed multiple times" rule. This is just some of the errors. Your other videos are also littered with errors and misinformation, i choose to not correct you on all of it, but if you want to be taken serious you need to do some research of your own, and stop repeating the same falsehoods on all these creators channel. P.S. All of you content creators keep saying the Interceptors Ultimate is super strong because your immortal and it full heals you. Well they all do that so that's not its selling point, it just has the longest duration. it is one of the only 2 that can rez people during it, the Colossus being the other. It also seems to clear all status, very important and nobody says it.

This is a pure support type pick. Not a fan of this JAV at all, Not even a little bit mainly because it's SUPER underpowered compared to what it can be. With my Ranger build, I can shred through enemies solo-dolo and be just fine. In times where your fire team quits or disconnects the ranger can Iron Man the situation. My secondary will be the Interceptor just because who does like trolling the enemies with swift dodges and spammy melee attacks Plus the interceptors acid build is INSANE. You can literally shred through TRASH with an acid grenade, followed by an acid blast, then follow up with any attack of your choice for a self-executed combo. I just don't think that the Storm is worth the tradeoff. It just looks cool when in reality you're not actually doing anything worth playing for. Storm doesn't even look remotely OP. Lol Storm is about to suffer the same fate as Gohan while the Ranger will get the Goku treatment. If you don't believe me, Just sit back and watch.

It alternates. Whenever it's showcasing an ability, it's on easy as it was the fastest way to get the footage. When i'm speaking and there is just background footage playing as filler, such as the intro and between abilities and end of video. That's me playing a lightning build on Hard.
