Years ago, I was living in Phnom Penh, and my wife and I took a boat from Siem Reap to Battambang. Worst trip ever. Was interesting, but the guys running the boat had no idea what they were doing and we ran aground a few times, and the villages we passed through had an amazingly bad vibe. This brought that back.
