Omg your experience is mine also. Almost 66 found them when watching the Stephen Colbert show and Tae said I’m good boy. I looked him up saw he was in Hwarang so watched that then dope and fire and . Got into the BU went down the rabbit hole because there was just so much to learn. Started reading extensively to understand the psychological aspects of things going on. Walked everyday listening and loving their music. They are wonderful human beings and I just wish so much happiness and normalcy for their lives.

For me, nobody compares to BTS in the depth of its lyrics, I think it is due to the personal growth of each of its members, because each of them has been conquering himself, and that is a lot, a lot of work, more than him. The work they do as producers, singers, dancers, is their authenticity as people, their self-knowledge. No other Kpop group comes close to his heels in that regard. It is an opinion of course. The other groups are extremely talented and hardworking. But BTS touches my humanity!

BTS' lyrics have so many unique references.. they also have a song entitled 134340 that has reference to the planet Pluto when it was downgraded as a dwarf planet by the International Astronomical Union. BTS are intelligent artists to be able to reference on these subjects that other artists would not even use in their music.

Their catalog has been released in chapters, each capturing their thoughts and feelings at that particular time in their young lives. Whalien 52 was released in 2015 on The Most Beautiful Moment in Life Part 2 and uses the metaphor of the 52 hz whale to describe how Bangtan felt so alone in their struggles to succeed💜 Since the beginning they were encouraged by Bang Shi Hyuk to speak their truth and they have always stayed true to that central mantra as BTS. The purple whale has become an iconic symbol of BTS with a very precious meaning in ARMY’s hearts.

BTS makes ARMYs think and feel a lot of emotions. From the story they tell thru their lyrics, use of instruments, dance, performance, storyline. Even their lifestyle,message, advocacy and their own life makes us want to be better people. As a.performer myself, yes..i do see groups who can technically dance better than they do or sing better than they do...but for me, what sets them apart is their love for their craft. When they sing and rap, i do feel the raw emotions that it takes for them to perform..and when they dance, it just captivates me. And yes in the KPOP industry, there are so many great groups too. Their performance are impeccable too. But tbh, i would rather watch Jin dance than most of the other groups. He may not be the best dancer in the group, but he draws me to him. His effort and resilience is so noteworthy. I could watch him perform all day.

The sticker under his ear is the medicine he has to reapply. There are motion sickness relief patches (looks like little circle stickers) you can put on your neck to help the symptoms of sea sickness. So you can take the metaphor from there.👍🏻

I could really relate to the lines- "Still I'm relieved Because even if I cry, no one will know I'm a Whalien". Even though we want people to hear us, to understand us, we still find comfort in the fact that they will never hear our cries, see our wounds, our scars, find our weaknesses, see us at our worst times and discover the things we want to keep hidden. We don't have to face the embarrassment. As time goes on, never finding someone who is willing to LISTEN and not just hear, Whalien's find peace in not being heard as a way of coping but, as they still long to be heard they sing again. BTS and ARMY have really helped me over the years, just for existing. This is one of their most intelligent and creative songs, I love their responsibility towards their craft and the passion they show doing what they love, despite all the discrimination. whenever I hear this song, I feel like it's made for me..... I was going through depression, and kind of felt the same way as the whale. even though I was surrounded by my closest ppl who cared for me but never knew me. I tried to communicate with them but they couldn't understand me...... but luckily I got to make some really good friends through BTS . I feel like finally, I can talk to someone. I am happy now :)

This is one of my favourite song..Their lyrics are so relatable to not only the young ones but older people like me too. Actually this 52Hz Whale is the only whale that calls out at that frequency. Just to share other facts Jin often wears T-Shirts with a whale on it. He also gave an large whale to RM and RM thought it was a shark. When making "Idol" they drew pictures that they framed and shared in the mv and Jin again used a Whale.

52hz are actually very low. Humans hear sounds 20Hz-20.000. So 52 Hz is low for us. I thought that whales hearing is lower than ours but I searched it and found out that their hearing range is about the same as ours with an extension to the higher frequencies. They sing and resonate with different lonely experiences. But from their song I get they are talking about their idol status and not being heard (respected?) in this whole wide ocean that's our world. Yoongi's words "even my loneliness is pretense" is similar to what they talked in Ugh later on or in Louder than bombs, like they are who they are and they aren't allowed to complain, to feel lonely, to feel bored, they have to cater to hate comments, because "hey, you are earning money". The blind whales will be able to see me, on the other side of this Earth. My song will reach tomorrow. --- so even if today they aren't heard, someone, somewhere, sometime... will hear them. And the blind whales will recognize them finally.

Regarding balance: it's in your internal ear. There are small magnetic stones there, that move when you move and sometimes they are hypersensitive and move too much when it's not needed. You can get it just standing at home, in a boat, car, plane... or as Hobi said, derived from anxiety ^^

You talked about the rawness and "agressive" passion and hunger from early days and this is what attracted me to their music since their debut year and solidified with their albums The Most Beautiful Moments in Life. Also, in my personal opinion, this was the key to their succes that others can't replicate...I remember in 2013 or early 2014 it was a time that it was pretty difficult for Kpop acts to take place in Europe (except 2-3 groups from big companies), with often being cancelled...and some organisers tried to bring a few korean artists and at the same time they organised a dance cover competition and the best would be chosen to compete in the day of the concert....they had to upload their covers on youtube and the ones with the most views would be chosen..there were a few hundreds and most of them were covers of BTS's We are Bulletproof pt2, and I was shocked as they were really unknown at that time, even in the foreign comment section of their videos...at that time the preferences for foreigners were EXO and BAP (for dance covers) as they were at their peak in career...but no, BTS was listened and covered by so many and re-discovered by others through these covers...That is when I felt that it may explode one day, as that time there were many foreigners listening to kpop, but the Korean companies they weren't giving too much importance as promoting outside Asia...and BTS and BigHit were the ones to bring all these fans from all over the world together. Their rawness that we have in their music in 2015 was what brought their first step of success that year when they won music shows in front of BIG BANG, who was huge at that time. That rawness and passion is what they tried to held a little bit of it during their growth and development and I feel is what they try to keep it in the present for all of them to keep doing music together and not going their own individual ways, like most of kpop artists do (like acting, entertainment, solo careers etc).

BTS-"Whalien 52" Whales often appear in BTS' music videos. Everyone is lonely and they look for other whales to listen to their voices. Jungkook said, "It's a song that compares us to a lonely whale. ‘Whalien 52’ is a compound word of ‘Whale’ meaning whale and ‘alien’ meaning astronaut. 52 means frequency. 52 Whales cannot communicate because they have a different vocal range from normal whales. For this reason, it has been nicknamed 'the loneliest whale in the world'. That whale was the only one with 52 hz frequency Sound so it couldn't be heard by other whales so it was lonely.
