I'm a girl, and can attest to the fact that I felt INSTANTLY on guard when this guy started talking about how to "turn a girl on". DO NOT go to a random girl and start "putting on the moves" unless she's giving the vibes, aka genuine smiling not awkward smiling, and is not looking like she is planning an escape route. I myself feel VERY uncomfortable whenever a guy starts to just give me compliments without establishing any other connection. When I have a comfortable established connection with a dude, and he gives me compliments, THAT is when I feel "turned on". I followed Alpha M in the beginning of his KZbin career and it was nothing like that. First it was about male fashion specifically for young adults. He wanted to stop the stereotype that men didn't care or dress well or if they did it was because they were homosexuals. Second, it was really more down to earth and tone done compared to this. I stopped watching his content when it didn't bring nothing new to the table, unfortunately.

Sure, his dating videos are "alpha" stereotype related, and there's always an ad in it, but there's actually pretty good content by Alpha. His grooming/styling/fitness videos are fine, but even better was his series where he got a viewer and helped him find his identity, get some new clothes, give advice and of course, gift an ad product (a man has to pay his bills). Even though he has an ad in every video, he puts his script in the description, so you don't even really have to watch the video (something I've only seen he do) I think he is really over targeted for hate, because of his hyperactive persona and "alpha" name, but he doesn't encourage toxic behavior, and helped a lot of people find confidence.

Alpha does have a lot of videos that are like that but he also has a lot of videos where he is more of himself and less of a persona. Life when he talks to his wife, or talks about the mistakes he made in his life, and the video he made about how bad his life was. Alpha has helped me out a lot, in fitness, hygiene, and confidence. I think you should react to some of his more thoughtful videos and then decide. You shouldn't judge him only for the more eccentric videos.

You know, the tips he gives away just made me think of the image he has of women, even though he teaches respect, and the image he's contributing to build of women: a person who's gonna take you for your looks, smell and seductive skills (like dancing?!). So, the one caveat that I would like to make to a lot of Anthony's videos, while they're very good and very informative, he has a constant push for "being your true self". The issue with this is that a lot of people who haven't dealt with life or death situations, such as Alex, struggle a lot with personal image and identifying your true self. Perhaps doing a series or something that focuses more on discovering what your interests are, and becoming true to yourself would be extremely beneficial coming from the generally positive standpoint of this channel, instead of just preaching about why it is important to be "Iconic" teach how to be "Iconic"

Gonna disagree with ya on this one Anthony. I used to watch Alpha M. back in the day when I needed some much needed style/confidence advice. He's definitely high energy and sells products sometimes, but there's plenty of genuine care behind his videos. I mean, he used to do videos where he'd give his subscribers make overs and get to know them. I think some of the videos pulled weren't... the best examples.. anyway, just my thoughts! It's the same when cancel culture all of a sudden beats you down and it becomes a trend. It starts with initial statements and then it becomes a trend, a wave that keeps on going. Now i'm not saying that this example with Alpha is cancel culture. From the video i can tell that it's more looking at this video in particular and the advice that Alpha gives that is being looked at with strong criticism. And i think that that's something good. Point out the flaws and the dangers that lie within the content and hand out better advice to combat it.

I used to be bullied (would usually ignore them but they wouldn't stop), and in 7th or 8th grade one day I said to the girl who was being mean to me, "Yeah I get that you're an insecure person, and that you're trying to feel a sense of superiority over me, but I'm not bothered so really you're wasting your breath." Lol she was NOT expecting that and had no idea what to say. After certain responses like that a couple times they left my friends and me alone. It was like giving their brain a roadblock, they weren't expecting it and had no idea how to respond in the moment.. Also if anybody followed this guy's advice and tried to act like that to me, I'd be fucking terrified that I was going to be assaulted and call the police. Guys who act all "alpha" like this make girls feel scared to say no.

But alpha was someone who guided us and we looked up to him, some of he's tips actually taught me how to take care of myself and my style which helped me allot feeling better about my self. I totally agree with you some of his tips are not right and not the best, but he was all we had then. Seeing you who I really respect dig in so rough on the guy who I used to look up to, made me feel really sad. He even could have put a disclaimer in the video if he wanted people not to take any of it that serious. I don’t hate the guy. I don’t really enjoy his persona but I also don’t think his videos are made for someone like me or even someone like Anthony. There are plenty of dudes out there who buy into the whole Alpha Male bullshit. And if this guy is going to attract that audience to his videos and preach love and acceptance. I’m here for it. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I subscribed because I wanted to see tips and videos as the ones that you deleted... Don't you think that would be better to do videos on the core principles that you believe are essential to be a charmer? I think you are doing the videos that your audience wants... But think about the value and your purpose... I mean... In your position probably you are just doing this to get huge exposure and then change the content to serve people and help them be better. Talking about others like this is not helpful... It our problem that we can't apply what you teach in real life, but maybe you should change the way you teach to serve better... Listen only to your high rank discord members... But consider the consequences... Whatever.... Thought you will change some perspectives in a positive way... I'm sad to see that you are wasting the message that you should be giving... (If you only want an audience to create a "tribe" of misfits then do it... You for sure will be able to make money out it....) I'm disappointed...

anthony still does videos on how to be charming. and even in his reaction videos, he always gives advice and tips if he sees something wrong in the video he's reacting to reaction videos also help him show his subscribers that these kinds of videos are sending the wrong message. if he didn't react to alpha m, there would be a lot of his subscribers who might be confused if they should do what alpha m is teaching them or not

I'm just saying that if Anthony want more people to release their inner charmer or working to be one then this type of videos are not the way (at least for me if they help other people cool).... I don't want to watch 20 min videos to find 5 seconds of an actual advice... Look at what type of audience he brings in... The guy above me..."A M" talking trash about me being an Alpha M fan ... And yes I listened to some of his fashion advice and that actually lead me to select better my suits and start thinking about how I dress. About dating I have my values and I'm not the Alpha type so I actually didn't take advice on that because quiet sincerely I just follow my intuition and nature... And in that regard I like more Anthony's point of view connecting deep conversation etc. *I could post this opinion in any of the reaction videos ...* Personally I think I subscribed after his audio book on presence and purpose and watching old videos... But then booom all reactions.. all tv shows.... Sorry but this change in content is not for me... But yeah I see the reason... If there's demand Anthony will bring the content. Wish you all the best guys... Even for you A M the impersonification of emotional and social maturity....

Asadex _____ I get where you're coming from but there's really only so many ways to say the same thing as his book you know? Even when you talk to old alpha m fans they say the same thing that they left because alpha m was repeating the same advice. I think reaction videos are a good way to sort of flex ones thoughts on a variety of subjects because you won't ever really encounter the exact same scenarios in life as one another. There's a reason people/corporations make a sales persona to pitch products, they mold it into what their audience will like the most. Personally the fact that alpha m fans are defending the sales pitch in place of the actual person is a bit iffy to me but business wise alpha m just knows his audience. There's also a reason why not many pitchmen are seen that much anymore besides late night infomercials, not many people like them and that's ok.

That's what got me to subscribe to him recently. He seems so chill and sweet. I also love the relationship him and Marzia have. It's so cute. Most of Pewdiepie's alpha comments are for laughs but this alpha guy really doesn't have the charm Pewdiepie has because he is trying to sell products.
