I Loved this album. I don't care what people say. I dig this just as much as Spreading, Among, and We Come 4 U All. Just different times. 👍😁👍

No, these songs shouldn’t be forgotten! And I will never forget them. I was SO pissed when Joey left. But the music that these guys made with John Bush totally won me over. To this day, this is one of my favorite anthrax albums. I can still listen to it and be blown away. It’s one of those rare records that never burns out for me. Speaking as a creative person, sometimes shit just gets stale and you have to change it up. Creativity is about always trying to make something NEW. I respect it when a band tries something new, even if I don’t connect with it, I get it.

I agree... This is the best thing that internet and things like YT have given to music. To be able to "get to know" and understand how it's like to be a musician. After all, superknown or not, they are normal people with family's and friends at home. It must be really really hard to be away from kids for long tours no matter how much you like to play music. //C

Sabbath changed singers by 1980 and brought freshness and a new element in the band. Heaven and hell is a great album!! Sound of white noise, a great album!! It makes sense really. I'm sure it was scary for both bands but it worked. AC/DC included of course.

Yes I loved Sabbath with Ozzy but then I heard Dio do Heaven and Hell and thought it was awesome. I remember how many people were negative about it. Sounded absolutely incredible to me. Likewise I did not have a big problem with changes in the lineup of Anthrax. In fact it was Anthrax that pulled me away form the old Sabbath and Iron Maiden and moved me into the next generation.

My best friend Matt Harper played white noise in his 84 Celica when the album dropped & played "room for for one more" and I then bought it & wore it out then bought the cd.

It would be bizarre if youtube gave you a music copyright strike against your own song in your own video 😣

One of the best rock/metal albums of the decade, hell even ranks up there in an all-time sense imo. These songs REALLY deserve to be remembered and performed, as well as the following 3 albums of killer music. It would be amazing to do a show or 50 (lol) with John performing stuff from this era again since Joey does not seem interested at all in doing so. Loving every minute of this series!

God, I hated this album when it came out, but I love it now. I was just so mad about Joey. Happy fan now and agree that it was pretty much two different bands. Kinda like All and Descendents. Still love em both. Anthrax just didn't change their name.

Two weeks ago at work i was playing this album, and one of the rare metal snobs walked in and said why are you listening this crap. He then proceeded to tell me its Belladonna or nothing, all i could do is roll my eyes, and remember a closed mind has no room to progress and accept change. Did i say no room.... there is always room for one more :D

I was born in 81 on the second to last day to be gen-x, so i was the tail, and i must say it took a long time for high pitched vocals to grow on me, I loved the words, I love joey and Bruce.... but John joining the band was like when Testament came out with return to the apocalyptic city, and all of a sudden he was growling his old shit like with chills down your spine....... See remove the hair metal scene, and their is no longer that contrast, so none of us kids got it, hair metal was classic rock by then lol

I confess: I cheated on Charlie. So good is this series of videos, I lacked the willpower to wait for this installment to be uploaded here, so I watched it on the official Anthrax channel. (File under things that do, yet do not matter.)

I wish Scott, Frank and Charlie would take responsibility instead of shitting on John: At the time they thought that the music would be better with John. They chose quality of music over quality of friendship. That is entirely defensible, it's called professionalism. They chose Joey because they were close friends, that is obvious and has been said. I wish they had the spine to say that they chose Jon because he is the better singer.
