Non-denomination is actually a denomination people can say that they’re not a denomination, but if you dress the way you guys dress, you automatically become a denomination, even though you may not be preaching or teaching a certain denomination you become within yourself, a denomination by the way you dress. Although I personally believe that dressing, modest is key to distinguish yourself from the world.

The Church spoken of is the Church Body which is the Body of Christ. THIS is the Church He promised to return for. He cares nothing for denominations, traditions etc. He cares for what is in your heart, the heart that can ONLY be cleaned by HIM! Those seeking answers in purity of understanding, seek and you shall find. Continue The Father’s work, our time here is short! He’s coming soon! The closer His return, the more opposition will come your way. I too am in the Church Body, although I am not officially connected to Church of God, I know we WILL be united at the appointed time! My sisters and brothers in Christ, I love you all the more!
@beautyfullar28616 ай бұрын
Absolutely! However I do have a question. How is it that the belief is that all will be drawn into this church or doctrine then? It seems to me that it would be the belief that all bodies would be accepted not that they would all have to become one? Could you explain this to me because from what I read this stands out to me as a nuanced difference.

Even though I'm an Elder/Evangelist at a Pentecostal church, I GET IT. Christians are apart of the Church of God.
@jaym27676 ай бұрын
There is no such thing as a denomination written in scripture, no pentecostal, no baptist, no Jahova witnesses, and this includes all the other hundreds of them. A true believer only lives by what is written, which is what makes one a real believer. This is also how one would know who has the actual spirit of faith, which comes down from the Father lights. Let me give you what was given to us by the Holy Ghost. 2 Corinthians 4:13 KJV [13] We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak; Philippians 4:9 KJV [9] Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you. To walk in the Spirit is to do everything we see in scripture. Please I beg you to not be decived. The Bible comes from the Spirit which means when we do whats written in it you are doing the Spirit of the living God requires you to do. I don't know the people who made this video nor have I seen the whole video yet. But one thing I do know is that the Church Of God is written. One thing I want to leave with you is this. I've been to pentecostal church, baptist church, even non-denominational churches and they all say the thing, which is no one can be perfect only Jesus can be perfect. Let me show you that we can be by obeying the WORD OF GOD. Matthew 5:48 KJV [48] Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 KJV [16] All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: [17] that the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works. You see my sister the WORD OF GOD makes you perfect it corrects you when your in error and guides you on the path to righteousness so that you may be approved by GOD him self. One last scripture so you know it's not my words but GODS words for I only speak what's written. 2 Timothy 2:15 KJV [15] Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. May the WORD OF GOD be a lamp unto your feet and guide you into all righteousness. I truly love you my sister God Bless!

When they are saying "their church is the only church", they quite literally mean that God's church is the only church. He appointed Jesus Christ over the church, that is the only church. There's only one faith. It's Jesus Christ. Not everyone is the church. It's so funny because I'm not a part of the group they're part of but the people I worship with solely believe in what scriptures say we are to be and how to be, how to dress, how to think, etc. Following the Word of God will cause persecution to come towards you because when you are truly with a sincere heart, people tend to hate that or are without understanding. The saints of God are strong. Jesus Christ said upon this rock he will build HIS church. There's only one. And it's in the Spirit. No denominations or differences. Just one Spirit in one Body. Okay I like what was said about differences in that aspect. That is indeed true. One body, many members who have come from different walks of life

The church is individual and collective. As an individual we are called to be lights aka ambassadors of Jesus Christ. Collectively we can come together for edification (spiritually, intellectually, socially, etc.) As the body of Christ we were given different talents and abilities because some will be able to reach others that some can't. God loves diversity and I wish we would embrace that more and not allow the enemy to divide us. May God bless you in your ministry.

Churches like End Time Message Tabernacle aka Branham Tabernacle aka The Message founded by William Branham also brand themselves as non-denominational. What is a denomination? 1. a recognized autonomous branch of the Christian Church. (Oxford) 2. a religious group that has slightly different beliefs from other groups that share the same religion. (Cambridge) 3. A particular denomination is a particular religious group which has slightly different beliefs from other groups within the same faith. (Collins). If you walk into a shop that sells canned beans, on the shelf you might have your Heinz, Serious Bean Co. Buffalo, Amy's, the store’s own value brand, Bush's Original, Kroger Country Style, Serious Bean Co. Dr Pepper etc & you might also have unbranded/non-branded. All are different brands of same product ie beans… Even the non-brand is in essence a brand, it too is distinct in look and or taste. Difference is with a can of Heinz beans bought from this shop or a different shop around the corner or in the next town you know what to expect not so with a “non-brand” if you change shops or towns.

Love the discussion. Your guest makes a negative comment regarding "wokeism". In all truth, his comment is uninformed and your agreement suggest you have allowed conservative and racist media to define the term from a negative perspective. Wokeism in simple terms means to be honest and aware of "systems" that seek to destroy and deny a people's humanity and the discussion to correct it. The TRUE history of the country is based on violence against native people who were owners of this land, and those that were enslaved. This is how the US came to be. So I have empathy and look at the blood on her hands that She has never been atoned for. My awareness of that is be WOKE. Simple facts...I dont perceive you ladies to be lazy. Well done ladies and Bro. Addison. I am happy. In my experience, the use of "saved" confuses people since one must elaborate beyond Mark 16:16 and Romans 10:9-10 where the word "saved" is in future tense. What I advocate is what Yeshua explained to Nicodemus in John 3:3-5. "Unless one is born again, he CANNOT see the Kingdom of God ... unless one is born of water and the Spirit he CANNOT enter into the kingdom of God". These are Yeshua's words. So they are non-negotiable. To join the Church of God, one had to be immersed in water so that his inward conviction can have an outward action that would allow the brethren to extend the hand of fellowship. But the immersion as an action is not the biggie, it is what immersion stands for, as a "sign" to testify of the proclamation that is in the heart, that only God sees. There was no other way that one could be acknowledged by the church of God. Remember we do the water part, God does the Spirit part. That is the lesson from Peter and the house of Cornelius. Sprinkling simply does not cut it. That is for joining denominations.
@sandrasimeon72416 ай бұрын
I appreciate your conservative dressing and your diversity it is good and healthy and reflect christindome well however never forget that doctrine matters; what you believe matters and many false believes are cloaked under the guise of Christianity. Everything else is semantics yes there is and will only ever be one Church which is God‘s church but the Bible says the devil is able to portray himself as an angel of light therefore people can call themselves Christians and be deceived by a false doctrine so what you believe is important and regardless of your denomination if you believe what the Bible says the denomination fades away and you have Christine that stand in one accord. I do agree that denominations can divide unnecessarily but also I feel it came in to place because a question about production became an issue. JW have completely changed the Bible to fit their narrative that problematic. Mormons have changed the Bible to fit their narrative, but they all called themselves Christians, ultimate God will sift the Church and hold everyone accountable. Because he’s coming back for his bride

@@beautyfullar2861 Let’s use Logic, you know having eternal life is conditional right? Otherwise everyone who says Lord Lord will have eternal life. ““Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’” Matthew 7:21-23 NKJV Lawlessness. Meaning never truly converted, repented to follow the morals and values found in the Bible. Also do the will🔑 of God which is to move away from all sin/keep the commandments. So it’s really misleading people to tell them they have been saved. This is the same as telling someone they won the race, the moment they agree to participate. Flawed logic. “To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.” Revelation 3:21 NKJV Key word: Overcome…sin, temptation, trials & tribulations. So never quit the race, endure to the end like Christ.

Thank you so much for this content. I sometimes feel that human beings unconsciously lean towards complicated concepts and ideologies rather than plain and easily understood ideas. What you guys are talking about is closely related to the question of racism. The world puts everything into boxes and labels them based on which is higher, better, desirable etc. Just imagine Jesus 'as a spectator' in a basketball game! What team would he be cheering or supporting? Both teams are dear to him! But who supports two teams equally? Jesus has no denomination neither does God. Just listening to the first few minutes of this podcast, I think it's just the semantics of the word 'denomination' being played with here. As a group of followers of Jesus Christ, I am pretty sure that there are some key tenants of the gospel or of the faith, that you interpret differently from other groups of Christians. Consequently, individuals that become part of your worship congregation will immediately or eventually conform to those interpretations that make your group unique. If that is correct, then you qualify to be categorized as a denomination. It's absolutely fine; I don't think it carries any negative connotation.

I would consider yall “centrists” so to speak in a biblical manner. I’m considered a pure centrist. I believe in the Bible and what it says, with that I believe God gives all free will. So while I believe in what God wants, I believe that people should have choices too. Here’s an example. My biological mother wanted to abort me. I’m happy I’m here. I believe what the Bible says about abortion. I do agree that others should have the choice to do what they want, even though in my heart of hearts I know it’s wrong. It’s a very touchy subject to me. I consider myself very pro life, but if I’m pro-God I’m for His free will. Idk if that makes sense. With that being said, I also believe that there is redemption. For those who have had an abortion I believe they can be forgiven and saved.

It's God's will for us to be saved and redeemed, however it's our choice whether we choose to live in His Will. Saying something like "I believe people should have choices" is like saying "I believe people should have faces." It's not up to us, it's up to our Creator, and if our choices lead us into carrying a soul made by our Creator, it's our duty to respond to His Will.

Free will is different than having laws justifying sin. Abortion is murder. Yes people have free will to kill each other but they're punished by the law when they do it. Just my opinion as a french where abortion is now in the constitution. 🩷

Nothing. The Lord emphasized what makes us unclean is our heart. Our thoughts, attitudes, etc. Not having the mind of Christ. You obviously want to be modest but don’t fall into the work-based mentality to grow in faith. Growing in faith is being like Christ

I almost laughed then I realized this might really be an issue you're facing... I can't speak for them but I'm always curious why a more liberal person in terms of clothing, always has to ask this when they see someone dressed more "modest" or just different than them ....? I'm genuinely fascinated by how that works. Not just you, even saw a bunch of people making videos just to oppose the idea of modesty, after seeing Christian men & women practicing more conservative principles. I hope I get to understand that mindset honestly
@duniaclark41425 ай бұрын
@@Highlyblessed_favored Following Christ diligently and yielding to the Holy Spirit produces change and a regeneration of the heart and mind. God is doing the work in us; apart from Christ we can do nothing. The closer we follow the more we can see the fruit of the Spirit in a believer; But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Thinking I’m holier than the next person because of how I dress is arrogant and a sign I am being led by the flesh. The more I let God lead the more he transforms. Focus on an active relationship with Christ seek God in prayer and know Him through His Word and He promises to draw closer. The other appearance is the least of our worries.

@@duniaclark4142 I get what you're saying. I believe what comes out of a person is what defiles the person as Jesus Christ says. But the thing is, there are some modest people who don't even think along that mentality. I think most of them are misunderstood. Have there been people who've used modesty to oppress other believers? Of course! Talk about religious cults. You see it frequently how someone even wearing full hijab yet go bomb a full train of people.... anyway.... There are other people who are modest and not in your face. Take Amish people? And people still respect them. Why nobody is all up in their face telling them how BC or AD they look? I just think society sometimes is just anxious and instead of measuring ourselves with God's word, we measure ourselves with other people. Nuns are also modest. Orthodox Church is also modest and so many other groups of people... But I used to also judge people who practiced extremes of modesty or immodesty. I'm lately just learning to experience the person behind the veil to know the person than make assumptions. Also, as Christians, I think we could or should normalize things like getting conviction from the Holy Spirit. Because for sure some do get the conviction to be a part of certain ministries we can not all understand. Now, I might all be wrong here. Believe me, I don't even know half of what I'm saying. It's midnight where I am and I'm a bit sleepy 😂🤭

The way you dress reflect the state of your mind. And God will change that in time when your heart is ripe and ready to accept the cripture for what it says.

the funny part is; so called ''non-denomination'' is a denomination, its part of protestant christianity. you may think you're not part of any denomination, but thats not true.
@yellaboi26715 ай бұрын
I'd have to agree and disagree with that statement. That seems to imply that Catholism is the default, which it definitely is not. It's a false church that is polluted with idolatry and mixes in pagan practices contrary to the word of God

The man is an Apostle? Please explain who deemed him so? How does that work? The guy did not expound on that topic. Where is it in the bible that states churches can appoint Apostles? I am open to learning as a Christian and a student of His word. God is Love and The Source and Strength of my life. If a person has given their life to Christ and follows His word and serves Him, then who are we to judge? I don't think God cares if you go to His church in shorts, jeans, etc. His word in the Bible is what we must follow and aspire to get to Heaven. Your church is not the ONLY Church. God's Church is His Church and we are His children. The Hargrave guy seems to be prominent in your church. Is his book a part of your doctrine? I ask, because you always mention him and his book is on display in most of your videos and not the bible. Is it subliminal? However, it's good to hear that you acknowledge your shortcomings, although this conversation is general and not specific. It is the interpretation of the bible that divides us. After watching some of your church services online... but you be you and don't judge others for what they do or believe.
@sistersouldier77738 ай бұрын

Wow. I like how these young girls are talking but wondered their religion. I've studied many churches and been in enough. One thing I've learned is that clothing can be very legalistic. I don't care about conservative clothing because I'm tired of seeing tiny shorts and crop tops. But what I notice is how they almost always view others who don't dress like them. Self-righteousness has creeped in. And you talking about a book with Hargrave and not seeing a Bible.......😔. No matter how good or sweet something looks, we must beware when Jesus isn't the center focus. All religions say "God"....but a true Believer of the Holy Bible knows that our God is the Father of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Do they say this and teach this continuously in their church?

Many things can happen, but if they haven’t happened in hundreds of years chances are….the church, as an institution can’t transcend these social quandaries people find themselves in. Faith is important, but the institution of the organized church has lost its faith and fervor to advance the mission of Christ.

Not all Christians are the same. Like what are your core values? Do you believe Jesus is the son of God who died and rose again for the sin of the world? Do you believe in the HS and his power? Do you believe in spiritual giftings? Do you believe in 5 fold ministry? People naturally are curious. I don’t consider myself a particular denomination.

Your Mormons correct?? Who is your founder?? Joseph Smith, correct?? I don’t understand why people claim to be Apostles, when no one living, or anyone after the death of the original Biblical Apostles died has seen or ordained by the risen Christ.
@adriandelreal91266 ай бұрын
No not Mormons they are Church of God which is a Pentecostal Movement or denomination, but I do think this is dumb. Who knows maybe I’m not understanding it but imagine if you asked somebody Coke or Pepsi and they said neither or both , It seems like they’re focusing a lot on how they are not a denomination, but this is actually a denomination the Pentecostal church which is what the Church of God is under is a denomination, putting labels on things or naming them a certain denomination so they could identify what the beliefs of those people are imagine if you’re Catholic I’m sure you would want to go to a Catholic church. Well if the church put a sign outside, the said Catholic it’ll make it a lot easier if you were Lutheran and wanted to go to Lutheran Church, it would be helpful if there was a sign outside that said Lutheran Church but yes this is a denomination

this comment is extremely sad and highlights the issues with social media and 'microwave' information sharing. you don't want an in depth, thorough explanation about these people's values. you are seemingly ONLY concerned with their outside/surface appearance... you are judging them and reducing their entire humanities to how they dress. this world is so sick and sad and full of people who care more about people's clothes than their beliefs. weird. but do you.
