Any type of Anti-geometry is a form of geometry at the front and rear wheels that alters and controls the amount ,that a car will compress the springs due to acceleration, deceleration or braking conditions. Anti-dive geometry is for the front wheels under braking conditions.

Thank you for this clear presentation. For many years I have read about cars having Anti Dive and Anti Squat suspension geometry, but never saw an explanation of what it is.

I found two issues in the explanation of anti-dive and anti-dive rate. The first is the drawing from the upper and lower arms, where are correctly drawn from the "ball joint" on the hub carrier side, not from the fixed point on the body side, parallel to the axis of rotation on the body side. The second is the drawing of the anti-dive ratio. The front and rear positions of the perpendicular line in the drawing are not the center of gravity, but the position where the wheelbase is proportionally distributed based on the distribution ratio of front and rear braking forces (the vertical position can be the height of the center of gravity). It is obvious that if the distribution of braking force changes, the anti-dive rate will also change. I would like to add in your honor that these two points are also wrong in many references and websites.

I learned more about anti-geometries with these videos than on my university module lol. Hopefully this will make the suspension on our Formula SAE car a little better thanks for the explanation

What percentage of anti-dive would you recommend for a medium to high-performance street car somewhere in between a Mercedes SL500/Dodge Challenger and a Dodge Viper? This car must be versatile in it's application, as it's going to be drifted, drag-raced, track driven, and daily driven/long-distance touring.

So at 2:56 is AD the distance between the intersection (X) and the road (base) ....am i right? please tell...got a bit confused

Yes,it is the distance between roll Centre(X) and ground.

Pair of A arms:- Upper and lower A- arms are not parallel in Anti dive,which can result in Bump steer.

You should have explained the forces which casuses the anti effect. Also stop taking pauses after every 2-3 words
