Hello. Can you do a pregnancy safe alternative to mustard? I would like to eat the egg salad sandwich with mustard everyday to get my eggs in, but mustard has to be eaten in moderation, also tumeric shoudn't be eaten in pregnancy

I would love to see more! I have struggled with all things anti-inflammatory. It is hard for me to stay with anything when my family won't eat that way. Your recipes are great and easy! I feel like I can make for myself and still have time to make something else for the rest of the family.

Hi Shauna! They certainly can be for some people, especially with autoimmune and if found on a food sensitivity test! But in general, they are just fine on the anti-inflammatory diet 🙂

I have been following a WFPB diet low fat/high starch but have been experiencing Severe chronic diarrhea. My IGA test results were high. Do you feel this type of diet would be helpful? Do many different options and books out there but I need to fix my gut health. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! I believe that in the past you were a vegan?? I also have Ho

Hi Kimberly! I think the anti-inflammatory diet is a fantastic starting point. The handout in the description is super helpful! From there, you can personalize it for you and your preferences - like eliminating gluten sources for 4-6 weeks and see how that feels for you. I also highly recommend finding a functional dietitian and/or provider who can come alongside you as you figure out what works best and they can recommend supplements 🙂 Yes I used to be vegan and still do plant-based meals but have found that fish and eggs have been really great sources of protein to add to my meals because I have such a hard time with grains and beans. I hope that helps!
