I’ve been playing blind 2nd horus and my winrate is unironically a billion times better than it was going first w any deck 😭

The best XYZ decks(and most of the budget ones too) are all on Blind second builds for this event because of stuff like Numeron and Armor XYZ Mikanko. The best "going first" decks are sitting on something like ExNoir or Ariseheart backed by a bunch of backrow or hand traps.

You could build Purrely, Kash and Lab for all the niche URs you need to sink into this deck.

@@TheShapestofSnatchesactually I think Kash is cheaper. Also the floodgates that Banish cards instead of sending them to the gy is actually more effective than you think. Most decks utilize the gy.

@@Y0LocaLT3cHBo1 They don't do anything vs this deck was what I meant (also this format has more decks that care less about Macro effects. D-fissure is mostly mediocre to useless vs Lab/Purrely/Kash/Blind 2nd and even shifter doesn't completely stop any of them)

I've been trying to get gems by using my Tistina deck and it's been pretty hard. So essentially what I do is go second and by using crystal god I flip all of my opponents cards face down then I'd summon Tistina the Divinity That Defies the Darkness to send all face down cards they control to the graveyard and then I summon Gustav Max, burn for 2,000 and then XYZ summon by using Gustav into Juggernaut Cannon libe and then gain 2,000 and attack 4 game

I'm playing blind 2nd Horus so similar vibes. DL 18 rn. Love watching the 8-Axis stuff but it's so expensive. I don't have any Alphas or Orochis and 1 Bigfoot lol. Unironically I think Galaxy Eyes and RDA Centurion are so good right now. GE can play through so much and has insane OTK play and RDA Centurion has so many starters plus banishing the opponent field is hella strong.

Compared to other Builds with Luna, Shifters, UR handtraps, UR level 8s (Sauge de Fleur, Iris Swordsoul, Fleur de lis, etc) and 60c with stromberg. Deep Sea Diva, dark hole, and Trade-In now is pretty budget

Haha very fun indeed! I have been using your Kaiju-Go-Second deck from some time ago that you built on the Synchro event where you take your monsters back with the spell and OTK the opponent.

Would lava golem be a good option for this deck? It removes one additional interruption compared to a Kaiju and it only really affects diva since you can’t normal summon her. What do you think?

@@enem1 tbh this format you don't particularly care about removing multiple threats. Noir is often by itself, you don't even need to Kaiju Kash since they lose to any boardbreaker, and lab uh... yeah lol. Also a big benefit of Kaijus is that they can also be used as level 8 extenders when paired with other Kaiju cards and are necessary engine requirements for Kaiju Slumber which is one of the best cards in the deck since it acts as both a boardbreaker AND extender. Lava golem on the other hand can never be used as a level 8 body.

Not needed in this deck for uh obvious reasons but also lab is one of the top 3 popular decks too so there's going to be at least one popular matchup it's completely dead against

i made max level using the archfiends/earthbound release/rollback ftk and a silly lair of darkness lockdown final countdown deck. sadly i couldn't think of a way to make reversal quiz ftk work in this format. i can only imagine the amount of rage i induced in the many times i knocked someone that was about to rank up back down with these ridiculous builds. the amount of burn decks i somehow beat with both is criminal.

I hear your argument about luna. It has more use in axis horus though. Bait ash/get discard fodder for the horus engine. Also it can beat over statues. Also also I once used luna on a statue to force them to dump a copy to GY then fingered it.

Kashtira cup has been a FUN experience,since there's no access to d barrier for a macro cosmos on legs turn 1 with most decks. At least during the lab cup you wouldn't complain that much then had a couple of back and forth,horus has been too all over the damn place

8 axis might be the best deck to anyone trying to place high in the 2nd round. Pretty good win rate but more importantly it can win very fast.

Going 2nd is ridiculous good in XYZ cup event. which ever can do zeus pilot combo like like nintangle for lyrilusc and spright ninja Mosquito can easy destroy Kashtira, labrynth and Mikanko like nothing. I have to said, this only XYZ cups going 2nd give a very good punch to going 1st deck, due to XYZ did not have Omninegate boss monster which is matter a lot. If this synchro cups, then we have problem because baronne avialable

I'm running horus engine with small world to max the chances to search for Imsety and is working nicely. Going second it is really my type. Nice video. . Congratz.
