Dennis Prager joins John to explore the deepening divisions in America today. Concerned with the destructive tendencies of left-wing movements, Dennis points to growing difficulties for young men and women who are deprived of the structure and blessings of Western civilisation.
He emphasises that while these issues are daunting, despair is not an option, echoing his belief that "despair is a sin.” Confronting the polarising shifts between red and blue states, which give little reasons for hope, Dennis opts to fight for goodness and truth on principle, regardless of the odds for victory.
Dennis Prager is one of America's most respected conservative thinkers and communicators. He
is the Founder of the ever-popular PragerU platform and consistently engages in
what seem to be the most important debates of our time.

The truth is that Winston Churchill lived way beyond his means and was heavily in debt. He was bailed out (accepted bribes) from Jewish businessmen in exchange for entering WW2. Instead of working for peace, he waged war and millions and millions of Christians died. Same with FDR who KNEW of the upcoming attack.on Pearl Harbor but let it go through without warning the base. He killed American soldiers then sent my whole country to war to fix the economic problems he had exacerbated. Never forget you are always getting played, Sweetheart. Especially by zionists like Praeger and Anderson.

41:40 sadly studies were done with bias text, the war between north and south was not about slavery for freedom, it was about furthering slavery, see the reconstruction act, 1871. Grant also expelled all Jews from his districts. Prager, being bold means no compromise, yet you still compromise. And…think of it this way. The earth is a snow that sits on Hashems desk, it doesn’t matter if it’s flat, a bowl, or a globe, it doesn’t change what it is to make something it isn’t, it’s a divide, a psychological warfare to divide….. and sadly truth is still being muffled, it’s not being straightforward. I hope we can get there soon.

The canaries were taken into coal mines. Inside the coal, pockets of methane gas form. When a large amount of methane is released, the canary dies and the miners leave the mine because they know the mine is about to go booom. Calling Israel the canary in the coal mine is more descriptive of the current situation than people may realise but the miners (the rest of the world) is currently having a picnic down in the coal mine, not realising that the world is about to explode.

‘Spectacularly naive’ applied to the young. I absolutely agree. I teach in further and higher education in the uk(25+years) and have noticed that as a growing trend. People, not exclusively in the very young but predominantly so, spouting what they have picked up on in-social media and other online sources without applying any critical thought or research/ reading of their own, which I suspect is true of a good number of the early comments here.

It was when you said 25+ I became depressed. I advocate (in Australia) that women in particular shouldn't go to university until they have a husband and at least one child. Which my daughters did before starting higher education. Anything else is a waste of fertility after all. And unplanned childlessness is a huge problem currently. But if 25 yo are still behaving like 13 yo it doesn't give much hope for civilization.

Well, young people see actual film of the devastation in Gaza and they know in their guts that it is deeply wrong. Most of the rest of the world thinks the same. There are Anzac memorials (18:13) where the barbarism on October 7 occurred: in the Forests of Be'eri, nearby Kibbutz Be'eri, one of the worst hit kibbutzes on that day, there's the Anzac Memorial in honour of their heroic Gaza Campaigns and there's also the ANZAC Trail which traces the route of the “Great Outflanking”, 100 km traversed by the Australian Light Horse from Gaza to the east of Be'er Sheva. In the UK, when they held their anti Israel hate marches on Remembrance Day, they also attacked WW1 memorials and statues of leaders of the time. The police responded by arresting Jews and Union Jack-holders!

In olden times, miners would bring canaries in bird cages with them into the mine tunnels. They would check on the songbirds regularly. When a canary started shaking in their cages or stopped singing, this signalled to miners that explosive methane gas (colourless and odourless) was present and they needed to evacuate the area immediately.

I would like to address the issue of young people dressing casually. The pandemic has increased the cost of living so much that I was forced to move into a property without a washing machine. I'm forced to use a communal laundry, which, in turn, means I must change my wardrobe to make it easier to maintain. I no longer wear anything that would require ironing because I no longer have space to do any such activity. If you care about how young people dress - give them homes! If I have to move to a new rental studio every 12 months and use communal laundry, I will reduce my wardrobe to a bare minimum.

I would point out that Dennis is right in the discussion of "proportionality" vis a vis the Allies' bombing of German and Japanese cities it was disproportionate to the civilian deaths inflicted upon themselves, except maybe to the Russians at Leningrad, Moscow, and Stalingrad, but let's not forget the genocidal attacks perpetrated against our allies the Chinese, Philippinos, and Korean civilians by the Japanese. It would seem that proportionality doesn't become an issue in warfare until the world decides to make it the case against Israel in its war on Hamas in Gaza. It is specious, and proves Dennis's point, often made correctly in the past by him and others, that a uniquely different set of rules is always demanded of Israel in warfare than of any other country in the Western World. The only possible explanation for this is international Antisemitism.

The discussions had stated that the western civilisation was in decline and would get wiped unless people stood up to the assault. They also stated that many of their friends, associates & family had died in that conflict and as they assessed that modern people did not understand the service people did in that era. Furthermore, they thought they shouldn't have bothered. Most said they would not do it again.
