Mam i have one question that is mam incase of m2 receptor for the heart if heart rate decreases then we should prescribe atropine in case of Acetylcholine. But mam you said that may be heart rate can decrease Or bradycardia may occur due to another reason also except Acetylcholine secretion. So how can we understand that the particular patients have bradycardia Or decreased heart rate due to another reason except Acetylcholine secretion???

Means how can i understand that patients have bradycardia due to problem in cholinergic system??

If bradycardia is a result of cholinergic toxicity then it will be accompanied with other symptoms of cholinergic crisis also. These include cramps, increased salivation, lacrimation, muscular weakness, paralysis, muscular fasciculation, diarrhoea and blurry vision.

atropine is caused by a paradoxical bradycardia slowing in the sinoatrial node discharge rate. This is thought to be due to a central vagotonic effect of atropine that, at higher doses, is masked by muscarinic blockade at the sinoatrial node. .....
