Mam agar heart me parasympathetic ka dominance he to ganglionic blockers HR INC KARTA....so how can Mecamylamine is antihypertensive

Because in blood vessels there is sympathetic nervous system ( SNS) dominance.When we give ganglionic blocker i.e. mecamylamine it will block the effect of SNS on blood vessels. As a result blood pressure will be reduced. Due to its effect on heart sudden stoppage of therapy not recommanded.it will lead to hyoertension in that case. I hope you got your answer

Mam in KD Tripathi book,Hexamethonium is classified under competitive blocker but you have told that it is non competitive blockers. Which is correct?

Hexamethonium has a different binding site than of acetylcholine.so we can't consider it as competitive blocker because competitive blocker competes for same binding site.
