I’m on the fence. Generally speaking AGM is a more durable battery technology and works better at extreme cold and extreme heat. Lithium batteries require a built in computer module to properly regulate the voltage going in, one more failure point added. Harley Davidson’s official position is they do not recommend lithium batteries for the Pan America. That said, many Pan America owners have swapped to lithium and have good results. I may try one when my AGM needs replacement.
