AN IMP DOUBT: Suppose if a person has just started performing thevasams, and they dont have any vessel inherited from either the sons parents or the wifes parents.In that case, what should we buy ( specially thevasa pathram). KINDLY PUT AS A LIST MAAMI. As u have rightly said, eeyam pusardhu is the biggest problem nowadays. A MUST TO BE USED BRASS AND BRONZE. AND THE OTHERS IN STAINLESS STEEL. ALSO HOW TO PREPARE FOR THEVESAM.THE PRE AS WELL POST CLEANING UP TIPS.

Maami i have started using brass vessels now, which is well tin coated. after cooking rasam or sambar can we keep it in the same vessel or have we to transfer it to other steel vessels? If we want to keep in the same vessel how many hours can we keep .Please reply because iam getting confused. If we transfer it to other vessels , there will be many vessels for cleaning.Is it poisonous if we keep in the same vessel?Reply soon maami
