3 uncles served in the Army in WW2, a cousin killed in France shortly after D-Day, my Father served in the Navy during Korea, my Father in Law fought in the Marines in Korea, my brother and I both retired from the Air Force, and my son is a U.S. Navy Rescue Swimmer. God Bless America 🇺🇸.

Paul, great to see the spirit of America represented by your club. And that patriotic spirit is defending our constitution through thick and thin. My hope is that we can all come together and agree on that. My dad served in the US Merchant Marine during WWII, and my father in law is a veteran of the Korean conflict. This year I was lucky enough to ride shotgun in a ‘31 Roadster at the Park Hill (Denver) 4th of July parade, one of 15 A’s from the Model A Ford Club of Colorado. It was a blast. There were literally thousands of smiles from young and old along the route. Keep those KZbin videos coming. They’re great!

Paul, i really apreciate your channel. I live in Alameda, Ca. A very liberal enclave off the coast of Oakland. Our 4th July parade was canceled during Covid as well. But when social distance rules were dropped by Brandon and Newsome our community started the parade up again. I think you should talk to your local electeds to get your parade back it is not the Federal or State guvmint that has stopped you. Paul, this is the greatest nation on earth. My dad was a WW2 vet along with my husbands dad. Our daughter is a 21 year veteran of the air force , her husband is a 36 year veteran of the Air Force. I think the WW2 veterans along with all people who served in the military either in wars or peace time made this nation the greatest. We could not have the freedoms that we have if not for them. I’m glad you guys had the parade, I loved to see the video of the parade. God bless you and the USA.

@@ModelA yep, here in curacao we are so greatfull we have the US consulate General, in a very impressive property the Roosevelt house, and our relations with the Netherlands is so vital, as we have this stupid dictator in front of our coast, Maduro of Venezuela. You see Paul we, our generation and your fathers Mr. Bob, we are living the very best part of our life here on this perfectly created world. Reason, we enjoy our Model A’s, as we live the past so beautiful, with a high degree of respect for each other, be correct and honest. But those few mentioned behaviors are nearly vanished. I got my green card back in the 80’s and returned to curacao after 2 years, and lived in Front Royal VA. Came back as I was my parents only child and had a very good Job at Philips electronics of the Netherlands, Noreco for the US market. But, the USA is and will survive all what’s happing now in Washington and Will keep the world respect as a great nation and in honor for all those men and women that fought for this country. Again, god bless America and that is from my heart. If there are out there people that are not agree, I respect them also and the may have there reason to feel differently, we need them also to keep things in balance. God help them also, as they need help & blessings!

Hi Paul! It is SO GREAT that your group does this every year! Those A's were all so beautiful decked out with the star-spangled banner! Hearing Stars and Stripes Forever took me back to the sixth grade when our little band marched and played that tune in the 4th of July parade of a neighboring town (our town was unincorporated and didn't stage parades then) when folks were proud to be Americans. My great uncle died in a Japanese prisoner of war camp WWII. My Dad and his friends joined the Navy during the Korean War, he was stationed in Alameda as an airplane mechanic but his best friend (my namesake) was stationed in the Aleutian Islands as part of the crew of Consolidated PB4Y-2 Privateer (USN B24) flying reconnaissance, unfortunately they didn’t make it home due to believed bad weather they crashed into a mountain. I saw a post from a 30 something spoiled his whole life guy I know that he was happy he was on vacation in another country because he didn’t hear one firework or any celebration of the 4th and he wouldn’t celebrate a country like this. I’m so glad there’s clubs like yours to counter cult ideologs.

AGAIN! Thank you for your participation in highliting our beautiful country. We just did a parade in Bristol N.H. on the 4th ! We had a float completely done up with all types of America and military flags. Our 28Tudor was also in showing off America's colors. If I knew how to send pics I would like to. Last Saturday, we celebrated our 200th consecutive flag wave on Saturday morning from 8-12. And again we were warmly welcomed by most. Unfortunately we don't make everyone happy. Thank you and your family for being Patriots in our U.S. ENJOY!

It was a confusing time, and people got scared. I don't begrudge them, however I got really angry when they started telling people to close their businesses, etc. Nothing in the Constitution says a Sheriff or even a governor can do that. People have the right to not go to someone's business if they don't feel safe or whatever. Mandating and using law enforcement to force people to lose everything pushed me over the edge!

Covid is/was nasty! I think it was appropriate - and even patriotic - to cancel large gatherings in the summer of 2020. If one less parade saved 1 life, it was worth that temporary pause on traditional celebrations. It's nice that your club found a safe way to enjoy your cars and celebrate independence during such a dark time.

Yep! That's George Fontaine (a former MAFCA President). He had a stroke and lost use of one side of his body. Rather than give up, he bought that Shay with the automatic transmission, power steering, etc. and STILL joins us!! That guy is very uplifting to be around.

I am glad the Shaw was made so George could participate. My first sort of Model A was a Shay Super deluxe. I Could go 70mph all day long. I much rather slow down and enjoy the ride

I love this channel, Paul. I love the USA and believe that it is a wonderful place. But you need to understand. My unvaccinated neighbor died from that "lab-made flu bug," leaving a wife and two young children. I would do anything, cancel anything, give up anything to save his life. Freedom, like love, shouldn't demand its own way. Please, Please! Don't politicize this channel.

It nearly killed me, and it did kill some of my family. My wife is a nurse and works in a hospital. We are very familiar with what it can do. Nothing political here, just being patriotic. That seems to offend some. I guess the ex-Navy guy with autism who doesn't understand social cues is being offensive. That's unfortunate that just being myself os offensive.

@@bjhuizenga5730 I always listen to the viewpoints and opinions of others! I never dismiss anyone. I guess I'm wired different. Patriotism to me kinda brings me back to being on duty and the feeling of responsibility to our nation and what it meant to everyone that I did my part. It means that I did it as a volunteer because I believe in the USA and I want it to survive against all foes. Patriotism to me is a very deep-felt sense of duty and love for what I believe to be the greatest nation there ever was. I believe it is a responsibility to people, but mostly to God that this nation not perish. It isn't "schtick", I really do LOVE this country, and not afraid to say so. And the freedom given to us by the Constitution are not negotiable, not even in times of sickness. That's my view. Admittedly, not everyone shares that view. And, that's OK.
