Great video. I think it’s shown just how good the mics are on the Sonos Ace (as long as you avoid the blender). The Modmic didn’t seem to remove much of the background noise and just made the voice more muffled.

Really? I thought the Sonos sounded terrible- very harsh tone. Not at all enjoyable and not something I would want to listen to.

It's a pity they didn't focus more on mic noise cancelling :( Have you ever compared office headset mic with pro for boardcast like: Sennheiser HMD26-II-600 ...or similar? 😊 It could be very interesting how huge difference is between it.

I know but on the flip side if they added microphone noise canceling software then you wouldn't get as rich of voice quality, so there's a trade off either way you go. We haven't thought of that but we'll give broadcast headsets like you shared a look.

At the beginning of the video I thought I had found the perfect set - sony wh 1000xm5 + Modmic 2 for remote work in a loud environment, but here is a total disappointment. They release a microphone that does not reduce noise. It is better to put a regular condenser microphone on the desk and have studio quality instead of a boom microphone. I am looking for comfortable headphones with the best possible noise reduction in the microphone on the market. Any suggestions?
