So to add to my previous comments it's a proven fact that when I connected my open COMM UC headset with the USB-C adapter my computer is working just fine. However when I was using my brand new open meet headset with the USB adapter I purchased with it my computer was Running extremely extremely slow and I thought there was something wrong with it. So this is why if I could purchase a USB-C adapter to work with my open meet headset I definitely will be purchasing one from headset advisor and I would appreciate a response to this inquiry when someone has the time.

Openmeet offers the lightest overhead pressure we've experienced. If it still feels too tight, no other over head headset is likely to be a good fit. In that case, we recommend considering alternative styles like the Opencomm2 or Yealink BH71.

Microphone sounds very similar to my opencomm2 and I bet you can do the same trick where you use earplugs when you need to block out your surroundings (or AirPods Pro in my case)! Double the battery life to the opencomm2 it looks like, and way better music listening if the air conduction is anything like the openrun pro 2 which blends the two systems like this does! @HeadsetAdvisor
@HeadsetAdvisor 27 күн бұрын
They do okay but don't expect all the noises to be blocked out. At the current time, when there's other voices nearby that seems to be the biggest challenge for headset microphones to cancel out. Epos Impact 1000 and Tilde Evo are two of the best we've tested in your kind of scenario. You could also consider adding neep.com mic noise canceling software and that will give the best noise cancellation possible with any headset you choose.

I guess it all depends on everyone's head on how well these will fit. We found them to fit good but we did notice if you were to bend down and lean forward to fast or something similar, they could come off. I also would like to add that I don't find the sound quality to be that great. I used my open meet the first half of my shift and switched back to my open COMM too and what a difference. I think I was a bit hasty in my research because I just purchased the open meet headset and I'm really not sure if I like it. I had my USB adapter for my wireless keyboard and the USB adapter for the headset connected to my computer and my computer ran terribly. I don't understand why that is as soon as I switched back to my open COMM 2 UC headset with the USBC adapter connected it worked just fine. This is why I am wondering if there is anyway I can purchase a USB-C adapter for the open meet headset and that way I will definitely know if there is any difference in performance especially with my computer. Again I'm not 100% sure this is the headset for me however I did pay a lot of money for it so I will probably keep it because I also got a large discount off the headset through shocks because of a coupon code I was given from when they messed up my order in the past. Anyway I look forward to any responses to my comments out here.
@HeadsetAdvisor
@HeadsetAdvisor 24 күн бұрын
Connecting the USB Dongle shouldn't cause your computer to run slow so something doesn't sound right. We're not exactly sure what would be the cause of that but maybe use a different USB port and restart your computer.
@meridith9340
@meridith9340 24 күн бұрын
I thought the same thing but I definitely noticed a difference when I used my open COMM two UC headset with the USB-C dongle that I purchased with that one. I'm not sure if it was because my keyboard dongle is in the USB port right next to the headset dongle or what the issue was. But I couldn't work like that because it made my keys stick and I had to keep correcting my work. I'm also just not sure if this headset is for me. If headset advisor can respond and let me know if you buy back headsets that you don't sell or only headsets that you sell? I would be willing to sell it to you if you think you could resell it and I don't think there would be a problem in reselling it because it's brand new I just got it yesterday. I will be sending an email to headset advisor to discuss this further rather than clutter up this KZbin thread. Thank you for the feedback.
