Damn, that harp guitar sounds HUGE! "Star Trails (Part I)" is one of my favourites from Back and Forth album, I have no idea how he writes stuff like that, it's just brilliant. He is the king of fingerstyle original music.
@roba18997 жыл бұрын
He'll always be one of my go-to favorites for acoustic work and HUGE is right .. it sounds just glorious on my Sennheisers!
@lightwarriors77784 жыл бұрын
Coming from Alexandr Misko himself thats a huge complement. He is my favorite fingerstyle player of all I am familiar with (and thats quite a large amount) and love your stuff very much as well though I just connect with his music more so on all levels. I love your songs foretaste, late passenger, and thunderstorm very much though. I connect with those very much. Great to see someone of your caliber posting here with encouraging words though. Thanks for all your music you all have gifted to the world. Seeing the level at which you both play is motivation and brings about new realms of awakening unto the possibilities of guitar and music as a whole. Blessings to you all on this day (12/25/20)

Perhaps the best compliment I can pay to Antoine is that every note he plays means something. Nothing wasted. No extra notes, nothing missing. Perfect.

This has moved me to tears for the last couple years. I dunno what it is. Maybe it’s the beautiful complexities or the overall vibe- but It’s such a surreal and soothing movement I just vibe with it so much. And as a musician I appreciate the musicianship-Thank you for this music.

This is musicianship... to be able to compose something so wonderful and transcendent, and to perform it with technical mastery and about as close to perfection as anyone could argue.

This is what I feel when I listen to this piece of art: "...[he] heard a sweet singing running in his mind; a song that seemed to come like a pale light behind a grey rain-curtain, and growing stronger to turn the veil all to glass and silver, until at last it was rolled back, and a far green country opened before him under a swift sunrise."

Congratulations on your best album yet! It's possibly my favorite album of any artist ever. At least in my opinion. The art design and tuning puzzle in the CD case is super sweet, but really there's just an incredible amount of attention paid to every detail in your music. I noticed your music is simpler in this album too than from your former records. Somehow the quality miraculously, but predictably 'cause you're Antoine, increased while the technical difficulty has lessened. This is what I call true musicianship maturity. I learned Air Ground and I was so surprised at how easy it was compared to These Moments, To Run in a Dream, Drive Within, and other great tracks from earlier in your career. I'm really sad that it didn't go viral because it's one of the greatest accomplishments of any solo musician I've ever seen. Truly Amazing! And you're an awesome live performer, btw!

Recently I have seen a lot of debates on what is considered "real music" and on if some of the guitarists were producing beautiful melodies or just showing off their techniques, and all that. Personally, I like Candyrat videos and all, but it is quite sad to see that some people fail to respect others' different tastes in music. Sure, some may favor stuffs like Despacito and contemporary pop songs and all that, while others may condemn those types of music and favor more classical or fingerstyle-kind of music (of which I am personally affiliated in). It is alright to have a distinct music taste, but opening fights on whose is more superior does nothing more than causing a flame war among the comments section. Trying to understand why that person likes this or that song, I believe, shows better musician-ship. And again, this is just my opinion, so you may refute me however you want. Freedom of speech.

Daniel Kim I actually enjoy both original composed finger style (with a variety of percussions added) and fingerstyle covers of pop music. And guitar+voice/piano+voice covers as well. I enjoy all acoustic music plenty. I also don't see why there should be superiority of one over the other.
@BroccoliBrigardist7 жыл бұрын
I think everybody should like whatever he wants, and should not be criticized for it man I don't care what you like so why should you disrespect my music tastetaste in music is subjective so just live and let live
