It took us months to rehearse and block this; it was all filmed using two- and three-shots inspired by His Girl Friday, and the long takes inspired by Birdman. Thank you this rich, dynamic presentation. I mostly read Chekov. He’s one of my favorite short story writers. This piece is so delicious, I wish I could see your team perform stories such as, The Kiss, or The Lady with the White Dog, or Misery. I’m not literate in film or theater, but I appreciate when such gorgeous characters better than come to life; they leave a legacy on film and in memory that be enjoyed again and again.

@@SajidhMarikkar just seeing this. I mentioned some Chekov stories in my comment above. The Lady with the Dog is the proper name. It’s the story read to Kate Winslet in the movie The Reader. My favorite Chekov short story is The Kiss. I love Signs and Symbols by Nabokov ( there’s a great recording on youtube). Black Elvis by Geoffrey Becker, Chance by Alice Monroe, I read a great war story by Josip Novakovich in his collection Honey in the Carcase. Pretty much anything by Raymond Chandler. I suppose taste is very personal. There are many examples in the New Yorker. Thank you for asking. I have a collection of my own. I’m a novice though. Every blessing.
