No Antonio, the process of elimination is NOT how you determine if something is true. For example, if we rule out 99 suspects in a murder case, that doesn't mean you have proven that the 100th suspect is guilty. You actually have to have evidence linking that particular suspect to the murder. If you don't have that, then you have no case.

Here’s how you do “research” on the internet: Whatever you wish to be true, you search until you find “proof” of your desired beliefs. They often say, “You *choose* to believe… whatever.” Interesting concept. I thought your beliefs were arrived at by the evidence available to you and your understanding of how that evidence applies to the subject at hand. Choosing to believe in something, like, “you can live in eternal bliss if you believe,” doesn’t make it true. This is for terrified people who know, but can’t accept, the fact that they have to die. Typical believer - “Yeah, I’d like to help humanity, nature, the planet, but my quest to live forever in Heaven comes first.” And most of them don’t even follow the rules set forth to achieve that end. The Bible itself says that *most* of those who are certain of going to Heaven will be turned away.

Sort of like a fingernail that gets ripped off, if the nail bed is still intact and doesn't have major damage, the nail will regenerate, but if the tissue where the nail forms is badly damaged or removed it will just heal over with skin or scar tissue. But I don't think anyone I know was grown from a rib, fingernail, skin, hair, liver, or any other tissue or organ that can regenerate as far as I know. The regeneration aspect usually only works to regrow that item, not the thousands of others which happen to make up a human. He would have been more convincing if he said that he used the rib to extract stem cells to create Eve. Tide pods are poisonous. But too many parents just use authority because it's easier or they might not know the why themselves. To them, understanding isn't as important as obeying, so they raise people who can't understand why anything happens the way it does, and the cycle often repeats from there. It's the same problem with the bible and God's whole plan. That's about right A Long time ago i used to be a minister, I literally went on a 15 year journey to find the truth of all this (this was PRE Internet years) What they are doing today is basically the same thing that i was doing Except - They are able to reach more people - They have a larger sample size of people who they have spoken to but honestly.... i found the same conclusion i found the following to be true - Either the person was clearly crazy (Yes, i even listened to crazy people) - Sometimes the person said they were an atheist (You need to understand also that back then the term was new and meant a completely different thing) and they people were arrogant and wouldn't believe in god even if it was proven - Then you have a person who believed with all their heart. i could generally divide these people into 2 groups Group 1 - Tragic backstory and a need to hang onto a coping device such as god, usually i heard I was raped i was bashed My father died when i was young My mother died when i was young I went through a war I had an accident that sent me to hospital and i narrowly survived I was in prison and right in the cell god came to me usually it was stuff like that Group 2 - These were just stupid and would believe anything you told them. i literally made shit up about god that wasn't true but worded it in a way that sounded like it probably was and ... they believed it Things like - (after they would get on a roll with a story, i would agree as follows) Jesus didn't just feed the masses with water and wine he also , to prove that he was jesus gave people the power to walk on water. In Matthew in the bible it talks about how a women fell out of a boat and didn't know how to swim and as she fell out of the boat she landed on the surface of the water but didn't sink but instead just laid on the surface as if it was glass and jesus spoke to her and said, you shall not drown my child , as your faith in the lord runs deep and he is here with you looking over you AND... THEY BELIEVED THAT LOL I concluded these people to be stupid.... nothing more than that I really only ever (After thousands of people) only came across 2 people EVER !!! that could tell me - With no backstory of tragedy - With no signs of being a complete fuckwit - With no prison time - With no pattern to connect them to the others that they know that god exists and they talk to god every day ONLY 2.... to stand out from the rest Now, we could debate them of course, but.. WHY ?? The Majority do what the majority do (if that makes sense ) so yeah, these shows basically do what i did and confirm and Re Confirm what i already learned , BUT IN A NEW TIME

@@MarkTheRashional You took the words out of my mouth. That's a point I bring up myself every time a creationist says something that makes this specific point relevant. The way I've put it for many years is like this: God is supposed be vastly more intelligent and vastly more knowledgeable than the smartest human beings who have ever existed, so if the Bible really did come from God then it should display vastly more intelligence and reveal vastly superior knowledge to everything ever written by even the most intelligent humans who have ever lived. However, IN REALITY, we could go to ANY public school fifth grade science in the United States, and pick up the science textbook that the class is using, and we would be holding in our hands a book that displays intelligence and reveals knowledge that is vastly superior to anything and everything in the Bible. (The reason I specifically use "fifth grade" is because of the game show that was called "Are You Smarter Than A Fifth-Grader?") There's a related point I make in regard to Christians who claim to have the power of the Holy Spirit: If you really did have special knowledge that no one else does that you are literally getting from God, well God is supposed to be vastly more intelligent and vastly more knowledgeable than the smartest human beings who have ever existed, so why are you people who claim to have this Holy Spirit not only not able to reveal any superior knowledge, but instead routinely display vastly inferior thinking, precisely as motivated by your belief that you have the Holy Spirit, and also display claimed divine knowledge that is pervasively false and thus horribly inferior? In other words, why are you incapable of backing up your Holy Spirit claim?
