He really enjoys cooking and the flavors. It's so simple stuff. He will be missed for years.

😃 thank you. Grandma used to make this with freshly made dough, and used to pinch the dough very fast into the soup. We didn't have celery, so she used to add other fragnant greens whichever is at hand.

I made it, it was good. If you can afford it- I like the idea from Kris -of adding 1 anchovy, and your favorite herb.

my mother used to add 1 anchovy at the beginning and used to cut the potatoes much smaller and cook for longer so that it became more creamy. And also rosemary instead of celery.

Indeed! We didn't have celery so she used to add other green fragnances. I miss my grandma.
