Decided to make another version of Before I Forget cover for those who don't want to spend a lot of money on guitar equipment, but are aiming to achieve the best possible sound. This cover is made with simplest setup ever!
Drop B tuning.
Recorded using:
* Fender Jim Root Telecaster (Dunlop strings 10-60)
* Washburn Force-5
* M-Audio ProFire 610
* BIAS Professional
The preset I'm using is available in ToneCloud under 'Slipknot (Before I Forget)' name.
BIAS Desktop is a stunning Amp Matching Modeler plug-in (Mac/PC AAX, VST, AU) that allows you to design your own amps, match and capture any tube amplifiers, and share or download matched amp models on ToneCloud.

GabrielTheGuitarist it’s starting to become a meme that emgs make tome sound good well yea they do but it’s what emgs are known for the thick active sound while pickups like Seymour Duncan are known for the jb and 59 which is aimed at more rock/blues yea they made the blackouts and active pickups but when I Seymour Duncan I think of those and that genre saying emgs sound the same in anything is like saying the modern channel of a dual rectifier sounds like a vox ac30 it’s completely false I put some in my Ibanez and sounds nothing like a bands tone even if I use bias for the “tone” yea bias captures the tone of the album but it will still be different tone doesn’t start with pickups it starts with u and your play style hard picking soft picking down picking alt picking that sort of stuff I’ve play many pickups in many different guitars and none of the emgs I played sounded the same for me every pickup designed by any company is made for a reason not just to sound similar on lower cost type thing I get what your saying but it’s not true my friend

@@Alphaaussiegaming yes, emgs sound good, but there are other pickups that sound good. Fishman sounds amazing. You mentioned SD blackouts, Mick Thompson uses those in his sigs. Also, that's one long run-on sentence.

Exactly :) Few months ago some man wrote me that anyone can achieve a great guitar sound having the same amount of money spent on equipment as I did. No big deal. I'm not arguing with this, but here is my example of what you can get with much less spendings and efforts. Basically I'm telling that my videos are not about having tons of stuff... you can have just a sound card to start recording.
