Just to be sure before I buy it. It connect WiFi directly from the phone to the AnyCast with no wireless WiFi router, or the need of use the WiFi HotSpot of the Android, right? Just the regular smartphone WiFi on, and the AnyCast on, right? No external devices, or internat hotspot, right?

Dongle has two options.. mirroring of mobile screen to TV(This mode does not require any external Wifi). whereas if you are using casting option, then an external wifi is needed.

Bhai Maine Anycast M2 ek Saal pahle liya. M4 liya tha lekin work Nahi Kar Raha tha. Jyada use Nahi hai. Lekin yeh 2 mahinese thoda der means hardly 2-3 minutes chalneke baad automatically out means kaam Karna band Kar deta hai. Kya yeh repair hota hai ya phir piece exchange ho Sakta hai. You need to complete the below steps - 1) connect the phone to dongle wifi, this will enable your phone can access dongle wifi. 2) Then open the web browser in your phone and type the dongle ip address visible in TV screen (mostly 192.168.49.1). In the web page there should be AP connection/ network connection option..... open that link--> connect to home wifi. This will enable complete path as display in the screen for internet access.

@@RCEnterprises I did it , it finds dongle ,tries to connect but never does. then ı try to switch the mode and the message appears. My AnyCast device is always pluged on to my tv. I just switch the channle when ı want to project something. Until yesterdeay everything was fine. But then this message appeared. When ı unplug the Usb cable and plug it on again It turns normal finds the drong but it doesnt connect. Also when ı push the button on the device to switch between Miracast and DLNA mode the error appears, all the time and my phone cannot find drong device for mirroring. Does it need to be upgraded or do ı have to reset the device?

The mirrorcast shortcut app doesn't work for every phone so if you don't have the cast option on your phone make sure your phone is compatible with the app as well or you a be waisting your money

Anycast is used for sharing and mirroring mobile screen to TV. Mobile Wifi is required to cast/share/mirror the videos. But internet is not must. You can play offline videos. Any Cast dongle generate SSID / wifi ID itself and send SSID. which can be configured to you mobile and share the screen to TV. Or miracast screen mirroring is another option to share the screen from mobile to TV. Thanks RCE

To change the password, you need to do three steps - 1) connect Dongle Wifi to mobile. 2) Open the Dongle IP address to your browser and connect. 3) g to setup and reset the password

Pls restart your dongle on time... If you connec the dongle from your phone Wifi then you need to run through DLNA process pls.... Miracast application will not display the dongle SSID as long as Dongle SSID remain connected in phone wifi.

there are two ways - 1) mirroring - then your phone will be fully occupied with TV. you will not be able to do any other thing because it mirrors the phone screen. 2) Casting - yes, you can still be able to use phone and calls provided you remain in 5-8 feet distance of your TV. you may see sometime TV screen freeze / delay in picture due to transmission/memory storage issues.
