Had this knife sharpener for couple of years but with over 33 thousand 4.5 Star average reviews are they right. Is it that good?

not wrong sharpening from the middle should start from heel

I have tried everything with this knife sharpener but I just cant get the suction to work, my surfaces are all clean, but it it just won't stick down at all, leaving it to freely move about, has anyone else had this trouble ?

Use a small plate upside down on your kitchen side. It’ll stick to that no messing.

I struggled at first. You really have to push down hard, preferably both sides, and you will see the handle jump a bit. Try to maintain the pressure while locking the handle down. I've got severe arthritis in my fingers but I've got the hang of it now. Worth persevering - be firm!
