The final part of the 'Now' section of this doco, looking at the Anzac Service at Gallipoli and the phenomenon surrounding it. Includes an interesting interview with Sydney author Tony Wright.

Its sad to see you have only 246 viewers while justin bieber has more than a billion... I enjoyed your documentary thanks for filming your experiences. It is good to see ANZACS coming to Gallipoli , remembering what happened and feeling as same as we (Turks) do about this war.Our ancestors didn't die for nothing ! Humanity won that day not only Turks as you said in 5th part. There is no other war that both sides felt sorry for each other and helped each other to overcome war conditions.

Well done. I too saw the mess at Lone Pine afterwards while the Aussies waited and whinged for their buses. Aussie spirit?

The way that language is used when referring to ANZAC is telling & denotes a kind of statehood religious zeal. For example, using terms like pilgrimage, the whole "They died for us" mantra and Australia being born in the bounds of war/bloodshed/sacrifice rather than nation-building, diplomacy or federation is telling. However, we are being VERY selective with this story as the Aboriginal's have the same sacrifice & they do not even get acknowledged & have had their invasion completely white-washed.

I am quite shocked at the amount of rubbish left behind.
