The solo rules seem more like suggestions on how to play two handed than an actual enemy ai, which is a shame. Thanks for sharing!

@WW2SolitaireBoardGameChannel thanks for watching. I agree the solo rules give a framework but you still have to make decisions for the germans...enjoyed game all the same. Period interesting and some difficult decisions to make as the allied player. It is easy to sit on the defensive when you really need to get your forces forward out of the beachead to capture key locations to win the game :)

Interested in how you choose which games to buy ? You buy from great shop in Liverpool ? Liked the video , thanks - often watch reviews of bigger games that I'd probably never have mental capacity to learn and play .

Hi Matt thanks for your kind comments....in terms of chpsing, i tend to pick games that cover eras i am interested in, unusual conflicts or games that are likely to be payable normally within a couple of hours. Yes scg offer great service and pretty much the only supplier of lots of games in the uk. I personally also struggle with bigger games and would never have the time to complete them :)

@charleslatora5750 not played that one Charles. This one has nice production values quite simplistic, but some interesting command options :)

Interesting: in 49+ years in the hobby I've never seen that word ('garbage') applied to AH's Anzio until now. Can you elaborate and explain specifically why you feel its garbage - ? I'm biased, its one of my favorite games. It has a 6.8 rating on BGG; pretty remarkable for a game that was published in 1969 and is currently in its 5th edition.
