Hello again Lex. When torched up tight areas like that i would use asbestos sheet and a couple of layers of sheet metal to block the flame from the rosebud tip, things were different way back when but still the same. Safety first Big Dog.

Never seen anything like that in my life I only heard about them. I did work on a property one time that had a natural gas fired pool heater. Remind me of a giant steam cleaner 1 inch circular copper tubing, in a giant tube that the gas flame was fire through it like a jet engine While the water circulating through the type K copper tube

Properties that I worked on you did not go back inside and leave your vacuum pump and equipment outside running while you work inside that shit would be gone in a heartbeat. I learned my lesson quick sad part was it was my personal tools and equipment. It was almost as if they were stalking you while you worked, waiting for the prime time to snatch and run with your stuff.

I have seen ur great videos on ac units !!! But I have see u charge a unit with gages and those hot shot gages and have not really see u worry to much about getting the subcooling right on !!!!! ( a bit over ) But u worry more that the low side is not lower than 32 . even if ur superheat is wrong . So I have a question is which is more important subcooling or superheat ? ( Hi side or low side )

It depends on if there's a txv or a piston in the unit. If there's a txv, you charge by subcool. If there's a piston, you charge by target superheat. Thank you so much for watching!

I pulled my element and giant chunks of what looks like crystals of salt flowed out. What are these crystals? They are white and huge.

I wouldn't put on a used txv because of how long of a process it is to get to that point. Then having to redo it because it's bad or a hairline crack you didn't see. No thanks, I value my time.
