lets be honest and real... Yes, Apex has a problem with their audio But most of the times I see streamers freak out about no audio it's because they were making a ton of noise and the enemy heard them and simply walked up on them and did not run up on them full sprint...no one expects the stealth kill and it feels SUPER unfair and broken when it happens to you and you immediately blame the audio like a knee jerk reaction, but I bet you, you just laugh with joy and glee when you 1 clip someone who did not know you were creeping up behind them... yes, Apex needs to we-work their audio because Yes sometimes it is not you and it's the game....but most of the time it's just that the enemy team just went stealth mode on you....not everyone

I think people always knew the Havocs potential. This is just thr result of nerfing every other AR and SMG lol. The havoc was in that list of nerfs when they had the turbocharger damage nerf, then after that was reversed there was literally no reason not to run one. It’s top tier without it, just requires more hand holding than other guns. With the TC… it’s turbo busted.

Honestly i really liked the fact that the digi threat was only available on pistols and shotguns, it gave them a chance to shine. People finally tried the re45 but now i dont think theres any reason now to use a gun like that when u could jus use a havoc. Itd probably just bring back the bloodbang meta

I don't know, I really like re45 with hammer points. You get that pistol strafe which is pretty big. Has pretty dang good hipfire without adsing, plus being a pistol it's faster to swap to.

@@Naotakun i guess so. i think the problem is a lot of people, including myself gravitate towards the nemesis or the havoc, or maybe the R301. before that it was the R99, everyone and their mum was using it. when the digi became exclusive to the pistols and shottys, especially when playing caustic made it feel like it was getting the treatment and spotlight it deserves. im jus worried its only gonna be meta weapons from now on tho, with blood bang being the main thing u see

Someone needs to ask him why they didn't give vantage any perks. Her tier 2 perks are actually useless, the extra jump is not only dangerous because it increases time exposed but it also only adds 5 meters to the jump so the risk is not worth the "reward". Then her refresh knock on ult hit doesn't really come in useful even because the tac is either already off cooldown or you just sniped someone with a flair gun so why would you look away from them to stair off into the distance for 5 seconds out in the open. She needs a base kit buff for some or all of these things 1. increase tac launch time 2. make it so she can pull out a gun in the air (would make the tac refresh perk more likely to be used) 3. increase deploy speed of ult 4. Make the lazer have like a 3 second delay before it turns on. If the person you are about to snipe has any semblance of reaction timing they will dodge your shot. Skill level is irrelevant and/or 5. give her the 15% less damage passive. The woman is built like a truck, stands out in the open and has a giant lazer beam showing her location anytime she uses her ult. Even the players with no aim can hit this billboard sized hitbox

No, Her economy with the ring scanner is great and makes sence because she would like to buhker up, the ultimate acelerant does need a buff, maybe make it like watsson that can stack 2, or at least have faster use for them+4 bullets The refresh tactical on hit is not bad, yet I wouldnt use it over the improved double jump, it was never distance, but rather adjustements and repositioning to high ground And it can be used in a better way than revenants tactical with the bat manipulation & holding for a faster tac and without having to rely on LoS

Stopped playing when the Digital Thread was removed from SMGs. Day one player, played every single season, completed every battle pass. Everything good and fun from the game was nerfed or tweaked. Lifeline's old passive, which was then made into the gold backpack, then removed. Bunny-hop healing. Skulltown no longer a place to drop except on special occasions where the old map comes back. Olympus gets out of the pool every now and then. I tolerated so much shit from the game, but now being completely fucking blind in a TF due to Bangalore (THE MOST PLAYED CHAMP IN THE GAME) having the most spammable annoying thing. Never played competitive, but trying to make your game an e-sport always ruin it for the casual players, who are the most hardcore and who buy your skins. It hurts me to say it, and I wish this game was still as good, but this is the limit.

the META in Apex is about blocking LOS (bang/cat) or getting enemy information (blood/seer), both gives you a very good advantage. the META will only be changed when a new type of playing appears and I don't know what they can do to introduce a new one since you can do many things with flexible bang smokes and enemy info is key. if they nerf Bangalore smokes HARD Cat will probably come back to the META 🤷

Bangalore nerf would be if she was given 1 smoke charge but also i would increase the smoke spread about 10-15% more. Losing extra smoke is huge nerf for whole team rotation / cut vision etc.

They went *way* overboard with the Cat nerfs imo. They decreased the amount of Spike strips she can have out by 1, almost completely killed its throw power, and then made them unable to go under doors like they used to. Literally just made that whole ability useless. Not to mention the nerf to her ultimate (but that wasn't _as_ bad). Literally the only problem that people had when she was "meta" was when her ultimate was paired with Seer's - but then they ended up fixing that by not allowing Seer's ultimate to highlight people on the other side of a Cat wall anymore (like everyone wanted) *and* they had already nerfed the fuck out of Seer. Literally what the hell was the point of nerfing Cat to hell _after_ already doing that. What is the point of her now. She doesn't really lock down most buildings any better than Caustic or Wattson, and Bangalore even after her nerfs still has the more flexible (and more frequently avaliable) blinding/cover ability. Her spike strips needed a *buff* if anything. It was never really punishing or anything to walk through. It slowed you less than walking through Caustic gas (I think) and the damage obviously isn't exactly great either. They were kinda only there just to be annoying and stop people from kicking down a door with melee attacks back when the spikes went under doors.

now that out of the game and seer is out of meta doesn't that make catalyst lose her whole point with the wall being able to block scans and digi? not that seer should be buffed, that character desperately needs a rework, his whole kit only makes the game less fun when he's strong. I feel like it'd be cool to see a new character like bangalore that gives immediate visual cover with their Q. I think the reason that bangalore gets picked so much only because there is no alternative for that, also she will always be in meta for pro play because she's the only character in the game that can effectively disable opponents aim assist and make a fight fait for mnk players. would be cool to see bocek on the floor for the first time in years. buffing the damage on longbow and floor bocek and significantly nerfing the bullet drop on those weapons could make them very viable while not being as annoying to play against like it was during their respective metas. cool interview, nice to hear insight on the decisions on some changes.

this a brain fart idea i had: (no idea on how possible it is to implement etc) i would honestly love to see balance changes (weapons, legends and maps) being more drastic in an experimental setting, like in pubs or another side mode thats always active to collect data and provide casual players with more variety, while also being more frequent (i.e. weapons every week, legends every second, maps every 4th, 6th or 8th week and also not everything all the time and at once) i.e. only hardcore sniper buff/smg nerf, fuse and cryto buffs, and only worlds edge changes (depending on what team feels it wants to have fun or experiment with) so that after collecting the data the different teams could grasp a better feeling of what different audiences really like to play on and with or what they like to watch in pro play. these balance changes wouldnt be a harsh implementation like the test/data collection phase but rather a 10% to 25% change to the existing meta

The only way to defeat the Bangalore meta is to buff other legends. Give people an actual reason to pick other legends, and they will. Continuing to nerf Bang will only ruin what makes her fun imo.
