Good video Brian. 3d looks pretty good. I use Advanced c-40 brake dust cleaner, non acid , probably 95% of the time. The other 5% is Advanced wire wheel acid . I dont remove or get super fussy with barrels . I , like i dare say many of us watching dont do high end show type cars . Daily soccer mom rigs that i know will be shot again in 6 months.

Finally a hammered wheel that needs cleaning. I'm not familiar with that 3D product but I have the KC wheel cleaner. I do like that store product you used to clean the wheel. I'll have look for one for myself.

Honestly that's a good wheel for me. I mainly detail 4x4 though. That for me would be a quick squirt of nerta diamond active mixed 50/50 in a spray bottle before I set up the snow cannon. By the time Ive set up the preassure washer the heavy duty nerta has done the job.

I am currently using 3D Nano Pail Wheel Cleaner, non acid. If wheel is hammered, I will use an acid/iron remover frist. In the past I've used Brake Buster, Super Clean & Power Clean.

That was a big turn around and the wheel looks good for a daily driver. When those horses kick in nobody will be able to see the wheel barrel anyways. 3D makes great products and I feel people sleep on their lineup. Thank you for the video.

My absolute nightmare; pristine black wheels going back on flash rusted discs, you know you have to brake but at the same time you know what you are going to see on exiting the car, that gorgeous brown tinge! {I know of two spray products to reduce but just wish there was some kind of cover you could fit like a waterproof snood you could wrap round the disc and then easily remove}.

I still use Mothers wheel and tire cleaner. Of all the "cheap" store bought brands it seems to work the best. I also don't let my wheels get to the state as depicted in the video.

Brian how would you clean that rust corrosion on the rotor in the background? The beautiful orange brake caliper label SRT sits on that corrosive rotor; which I have the same issue. What product should I use we use?

Gosh, that was a bad one. I've never had one like that. Did you put a ceramic coating on it afterward? Hopefully, you help trained the owner how to maintain their wheels. I know I try my best with some success. Something tells me the paint on the car was trashed. Good video Brian

I get the same results with a $6 turtle wax wheel and tire cleaner and I use the horse hair soft brush to agitate the dirt and rinse with a regular garden hose no pressure washer
