I liked this box. The Hoko knife project was fun and is a nice skill to learn and hopefully never need. The lighter knife is kinda cheesy.. but would be awesome if you really needed it. My son(18) was really into the journaling and actually liked the entire box even more than I did. My box also came with 2 pages(full color front/back) on Reverse Wrap the art of twisting fibers into cordage. Step by step how to make cordage out of all sorts of stuff..plastic shopping bags, long grasses, hair, toilet paper(prison rope). Overall I’m still happy with this box.

Way back in science school, it was always a big deal to draw your findings, especially in botany, so the book may appeal to some folks.

I would not EDC the FB knife but I would use it alot in my kitchen. The sheath I would fix it up for another FB I have that don't have one.

I got mine yesterday, just the standard not the plus and all though I've been getting SHTF for almost 2 years this was the first lighter knife I've gotten

The knife BIC holder is meh Chonk is too small to rate being carried The guidelines are great. Hugely useful Spatula is okay esp with the small bowl The field guides are always great for me. Journaling is a recommend disaster skill and knowing your location is critical. Decent size book. Always useful in disasters I’ve no use for the flint knife but I’m not a bushcrafter The camp knife is useful. It’s for cooking not defence It seems a B to me. Mine arrives later as I’m in Canada 🇨🇦

My understanding of this box is that it's a primitive gear survival box, and things you build yourself. Tac guys and gals will not like it, viewers of all survival cable shows will likely love it! Love your work good sir!!!
