*Spoilers* Why are they like children Because The Tenno are actually child soldiers. They were the children who survived a ship that basically got stuck in warp and given powers. All the adults died overwhelmed but they survived and the Orokin used them to make the Warframes work. Watch “The Sacrifice” cinematics to make it make sense.

@@i_i_hope_i_i well you know how in the ember prime entry that after the interrogator chastises the captain for bringing children onto the zerimen 10-0 and she said that they didn’t well spoilers ahead After the new war we are introduced to eternalism a law which states that all time exists on a cube and each side next to the other so every past present and future are together and we just experience it in a linear way so basically multiverse theory and with the quills ability to know all possibilities it seems this is true so basically it seems that the lore of war frame being that which is written up top may be one of a slew of possible ways that the orokin sent out the 10-0 and we may not even be the Tenno of that universe

i guess DE for their void space took the concept of the warp from warhammer 40k as a violent extradimensional space where nothing is persistent and stuff can happen. it even have it's own some kind of demon(s), like lords of chaos. during i guess educational trip to remote colonies, zariman 10-0 (an interstellar ship) got stuck right inside the void where psionic environment took over the adults and essentially made them slaughter each other. kids was mostly immune to void's psionic influence- some got out just fine, some experienced obscure visions and nightmares. what they wasnt immune to is void's paranormal energy that gave these kids an ability to do...things. mostly psionic-related. after zariman 10-0 fell off the void and was discovered, kid instantly became a test subjects. orokin (which are their nation, our remote descendants) was studing them and suddenly found out that these kids can mind control warframes, a semi-sentient biorobots designed as ultimate ground force, which orokin wasnt really sure what to do with, since they wasnt really compliant before scientist discovered kid's abilities. thats how tenno was born.

@@angeltensey Pretty much all of this is spoilers, so I'm going to put it behind a 'Read more' tab. It wasn't an educational trip, they were field testing a new Void transition drive that would allow them to cross greater gaps I believe (the cutscene shows our Tenno and a few others were taking a test that was pushed ahead of schedule so they would not be distracted from the Void jump). Void space is considered 'untameable', it is destructive and can and will twist and destroy anything not protected against its harsh grasp. The ship got stuck in transition and could not be piloted back to 'real' space because the crew had mostly been driven mad, only the children were immune to it because children's minds are more easily accepting of things adults can not comprehend. So the infinitude of the Void was not able to twist their minds, but they weren't completely immune to the changes the Void made to them. In fact, what likely changed them was the Man in the Wall as our Tenno made a deal with it to save them all. The only way the Orokin likely found them, was that the ship drifted within reach of a relay beacon so they sent in a recovery team to salvage what they could. We know the Zariman Ten-Zero was never recovered from Void Space because with the update that brought us the Holdfasts, we know the ship got stuck in a Void rift while trying to escape. The question still on my mind is that; because we now know about eternalism, are we now in the Drifters time line where things play out similarly but Narmer loses or are we still in our time line where Narmer would have won but we changed the tide of fate? Or have the two converged since we can slip between Drifter and Operator?

That we see there is what Lotus was meant to be - there is a moment were she explains she was made for a dark purpose yet she refused it and turn her back on her creators while choosing to side with the Tenno because she viewed them. Yet the trailer does a good job as it makes us want to know how and why space mom would betray us and if she can be saved, As she does seem to hesitate for a moment when seeing the Tenno preparing to attack

I haven't been playing Warframe for even a year quite yet, but I have several hundred hours in the game and I'm almost ready for the New War. A lot of other people have already said this, but I would LOVE to see you play some on the channel, whether it be picking up where you left off or starting fresh on a new account. I may not have been there since the beginning, but even I can tell that it's grown so much over the years from what it was. And, I can confirm that the story quests absolutely blow it out of the water, they're amazing. Also, if you want I'd be glad to give you my username and help you out when you need it. Great reaction, as always, I love watching your videos even on the occasion when they're not on things I'm interested in by themselves. Keep it up!

In the original trailer, somebody in the comments theorized that the girl IS actually a Tenno and is in the pod on Lua, but the one we see here is kinda-sorta her consciousness out of her body or something similar (through transference or something?), which is why the Grineer who stepped into the building didn't try to shoot or capture her simply because they couldn't see her, being an incorporeal drifting consciousness. Not sure how much this theory could hold water, but still, it was a good theory

Imo Now might be a good time to get back into warframe& catch up with the story with primary resurgence going on I’ve been getting prime frames and weapons like crazy even the ones not in the rotation I’m getting for cheap in the market, selling random prime parts for a few platinum and trading it in for prime war frame parts. May not be as deep as Warhammer but Warframe definitely has a very interesting and fairly deep lore/story

The girl in the trailer is Nova, btw. The "Lotus" in the third section isn't Lotus, it's Margulis, who saved the children on the ship and let them go, leading to her execution. Lotus is a sentient amalgam of Margulis's memories and the daughter of Hunhow, the "daddy" of Stalker and source of War and Broken War. Lotus was supposed to eradicate the tenno on the ship but with Margulis memories, decided to let them go. Hunhow sent her brother to bring her back to her Mother (the big ass ship in the credits) and remove all her infiltration programming. Lotus and her brother Erra now return from the Tau system where the Sentients have been building up since the Old War to get rid of the organics once and for all.

Second frame shown was Mag, one of the OG 3 with Excalibur and Loki. (Yes Loki was originally a starter way back in the day, he got replaced by Volt for being a bit too OP/hard to learn for noob players).

It always upset me how they broke lore continuity with the new intro. None of the tenno are supposed to be awake since they're all sleeping in the moon that's supposed to be hidden in the void and impossible to be found.

SO yeah without wrecking the Warframe story entirely like some commenters have "splitting the veil" as it were. I would urge you to pick it back up and continue from where you left off, it sounds like you haven't even woke up yet, and no that is not some "woke" BS(there is really a big story here) and no it can't be covered in a page of text or one measly trailer like some have tried to do here. I used to play Warframe, as a days 1 vet of the game (5,505.5 hours) It may be worth getting into the game as a new player. But for people like me who basically got the middle finger from DE for one reason or another, I haven't played in about a year do to them getting bought by Tencent and nerfing the power ceiling to make vets much weaker to high lvl enemies, and overall trying to appeal to newer players instead of taking care of the community that supported them from the beginning. Life of Rio covered the main reasons why so many vets like myself left the game. Though, I may hop in sometime in the future to see how things have changed.
