I currently have the pleasure of testing out the incredible Apollo Phantom electric scooter. Before I conclude and share my full review, I wanted to share this quick ride test to showcase just how powerful this thing is. During this test ride, I top out at 41.5 MPH (66.7 KMH) and I travel about 6.4 miles (10.3 km). This is hands down one of the most fun scooters I've tried and I can already say now that it beats most of my performance test records across the board. Can't wait to share my full review of this monstrous dual-motor electric scooter in the coming week or so.

Definitely! Finally invested in knee pads, motorcycle gloves and body armor. I pair that with a full-face helmet that I use in this video. Better safe than sorry.

Haha yeah, I hope he did. The scooters are limited to 25 MPH here in Denmark and I believe that's about what he was going at. The Phantom easily pulls away (was not at all full throttling it in that situation)

Why I can’t get my phantom pass 18 mph I only weigh 180 ??? My p-setting 8 is at 💯 % ??? Anyone knows??! Ok I will check the ( gear mode ) 1-3. Maybe I am on 2 ? Or running one single Motor. Great info thank you !

Definitely make sure you're using gear mode 3 and have the "Sports Mode" enabled (it'll show both gear mode and sports mode on the display). The Phantom only uses both motors when in Sports mode. If the problem persists, try placing the scooter on a surface where the wheels can spin freely without any ground contact to see if both wheels are indeed spinning when in Sports mode. If they are not, there's likely an issue with either the non-spinning motor or with the controller it's connected to in which case I'd get a hold of Apollo. Hope that helps because the Phantom should definitely push out a lot more power than 18 MPH.

Hi Daniel, I am lucky enough to work with brands including Apollo on hands-on reviews for our channel and website. The shipping was specifically arranged with Chris from Apollo (he has a license to legally ship it via air freight). I am not aware of what the shipping itself cost as no money exchanged hands (that's our rule when working with brands) but I believe it is quite expensive to ship a single unit from US/Canada to Denmark like this via air freight. If you're super interested in the Phantom and you're ready to pay extra for the shipping and import fees there may be, I highly recommend reaching out to Chris from Apollo or even getting in touch with EU retailers to see if they can make it happen with less of a headache (keep an eye on RideFatdaddy, Beyond PEV, Ride & Glide, Personal Electric Transport UK).

You need more protection for that kind of riding. Gloves, knees protection, full head and face helmet. Great otherwise.

Thanks! And yeah, without a doubt - I only used a full face helmet in this video which is definitely not enough. I've just pulled trigger on full upper body protection, gloves and knee protection set to arrive in the coming days.

Can’t agree more - this was the first thing that crossed my mind . I’m been hardcore e-scooter rider for few years now and had two weary hard falls that will leave scars for life , still recovering from my last accident two weeks ago and only now my body’s functions are starting retuning back to normal . Definitely high protective gear is absolute must when speeds are this high .Gravity can be an absolute Bit...ch

What is the true range on this on its "sport mode" or what ever the fastest setting is?

I’d say 35 . Sport with level 3 eats battery but obviously the speed is high

so what is the range when at about full throttle ? how much is battery left after your 10.3 km ? of course they sent you a nice one that seem not wobbling. Many people told that it wobble at high speed. I suspect some unit are wobbling some don't. I really want the phantom for many reasons but i am still waiting to buy when it will be upgraded in range, not wobbling and have a smooth throttle

Will be publishing full test results in the final review coming real soon. When riding it heavily (full throttle most of the time), I got 28.05 miles of range. Haven't experienced any notable instability or wobbles but will definitely look into it. Looks like they're already addressing the throttle issues.

How much more power does it have then the Apollo ghost?

1600W on the Ghost vs 2000W on the Phantom. In my tests, the Ghost has a top speed of 36.3 MPH while the Phantom goes up to 41.5 MPH. Acceleration on the Phantom (0-15 MPH) was 2.62 seconds while the Ghost got that in 2.82 seconds. Over the board, we're looking about a 10-15% increase in performance.

Great video! How's your phantom holding up? My first phantom had brake issues and faulty tires after 3 days of ownership. Then Apollo sent me a replacement phantom that had "error 08" and made the scooter useable. I waited 3 months for this scooter for this quality. I'm happy with my Kabbo Wolf warrior.

Sorry to hear that you've had a bad experience with the Phantom so far. This is a pre-production model (hence the messy cables) but it's holding up really well. The front fender was initially rubbing a bit against the tire (likely happened during shipping) but that was an easy fix. Definitely the most powerful ride I have and it feels super smooth to ride - would've enjoyed the hydraulic brake version even more.

So at this point I hadn't even taken the protective film off the screen hence why it is not very clear. Apart from that, the first batch of Phantom displays have lacked visibility ik bright sunlight but Apollo have fixed that for their second batch. They'll be sending improved displays out to all first-batch buyers (along with other upgrades based on customer feedback) likely end November (at least that's what I heard they were expecting.

I cannot see the speedometer numbers so no way to tell how fast you're going..not good..!..this scooter is overpriced and overated ....for that money you can get better scooters out there

With all the problems this scooter has i wouldn't even ride it of 10 mph broken necks bent rotors on Facebook people have had a lot of issues with this batch return it and get your money back better safe than sorry
