Great review Jake, I've owned an Apollo City Pro for 12 months now and love it! In fact I just went for a ride today in my local area west of Brisbane, Australia. Jake, I originally ordered a Phantom V3 but Apollo changed the delivery date a couple of times so I cancelled my order and got a Solar FF Lite. How do you think the two compare/which do you prefer?

phantom v3 but you can check the nami klima or vsett 10+ . They are great scooters too

I have a Phantom V3 and there are some things I wish Apollo would change. First, the brake calipers are pretty cheap and difficult to get dialed in. On this, Apollo's flagship scooter, they should have used high quality calipers. Second, the screen is nowhere bright enough in sunshine. Third, the control center sound can't be adjusted. With wind noise, it's impossible to hear the beep acknowledging cruise control has been activated. Fourth, the controller doesn't give smooth acceleration. There's a gap between low speed and high where the acceleration isn't incremental. Still, I love the scooter and have had many exciting rides.

Waiting for my '23 model to be delivered - ordered it in a pre-release sale a couple of weeks ago. Regen brakes are the main reason I'm looking forward to the Phantom over my current '22 Ghost. The standard brakes are awful. Regen just makes sense. From what I've heard, regen can be used even in extremely hard braking, and both wheels are braking (you're not just going to lock up your back wheel). Do you know yet if it's true about the Phantom having the same tire/tube requirements as the Ghost? (e.g., 255mx80mm (10" x 3") tires), HOWEVER, inner tubes must be 2.5", not the 3" that typically come with a 10x3 tire. Just a quirk that can save you a ton of time. Ask them on Apollo's site, they're pretty helpful.

Just bought an Apollo phantom Ludicrous 60V. Arriving tomorrow. So excited. It's seems exactly the same specs as this except slightly faster and cheaper at £2000. Not seeing why you'd pay 1600-1700 then another 450 for upgrade to v3 at 52V instead of going for the 60V? Weight perhaps?

Fluid freeride(3rd party) offers the v2 veesion with the v3 upgrades, is it better to just buy cheaper version $1500 u,s, dollars or go through apollo and pay $2090?

its simple, make sure the psi is good on your tires, add lithium grease on every moving part and keep the machine clean. Also lube the bearings once in a while.
