How To Market Your Clothing Brand Online In 2021 (Real Advice)

2020 was truly messed up. I wanted to start out 2021 by sharing what I believe to be the biggest opportunities on social media for your clothing brand this year. The growth of TikTok forcing Instagram to come out with Instagram Reels presents an opportunity for real and significant organic growth. Creating content for Instagram Reels and TikTok is MORE challenging than creating regular content. This is because creating vertical video content for clothing brands requires you to be slightly more creative. I believe this is a beautiful barrier to entry for most clothing brands looking for an advantage. If you can force YOURSELF to create high quality vertical video content for your clothing brand consistently, you will be giving yourself the best chances at growing and maintaining a following in 2021. Great video. Creative is always the variable as Gary V would say. I was a mad man creative director as the industry shifted into social media marketing / advertising. Social media marketing has evolved so much in just the last 5 years. Agencies would have to really pitch huge companies like Pepsi to jump on the social train and spend less on over priced print ads etc. I’ve leveraged that experience into my own brand for fans of the Raiders and it’s a hit with just cold Facebook ads. I can’t wait to play with look a like audiences etc. The cold ads generally run 2 cents a click with only a few thousand social media followers which is a blessing but also hard work. From that pro experience I truly understand that you have to cast ego aside and make sure your creative foundation is what the public wants. Don’t be afraid to adapt. Some ideas may be cool to you but just don’t resonate with the niche. Good luck everyone. Get in on early social exposure with tik tok and reelz. Great video!

Hey man. My brand concept is something i feel can be received well by everyone. It’s all about being yourself and not caring about others opinions about you. The brand name is Do You and I like to define it as being comfortable with being yourself and if people don’t like it that’s on them. If they don’t like something someone else does don’t rip on them let them do them while you do you.
