I've used a McDonalds napkin and electrical tape to Dr. worse. When you're young there is no time for emergency room visits. Hungry mouths at home and all that. 😁

A little trick to the trade. Carry around a can of spray foam and a scraper. Point truck and down hill spray foam around the door and let dry 10 min and it will seal up.

Lol reminds me of a time I sliced my hand open with a box cutter working at a warehouse. I had to get this truck live loaded so I just stuck my hand in my pocket and kept on driving the lift. I looked down 10 minutes later and it looked like I had pissed myself.. This is why men die earlier 😅

When i owned my business years ago one of my employees had brand new disc on brandnew grinder blew apart grinding on a dumpster and cut hand so bad could barely reconnect it. Stay safe long time follower.

Good info on your various facets of your business. Where I'm at, the main refuse company has exclusive rights in a contract with the county. Anyone trying a dumpster rental business will get shut down far and sued. These guys are no joke. The only way around it is smaller dump trailers with "not for rent" or "not for hire" signs on them. I have a friend with a few dump trailers like this. Only once did the big guy question it. The guy renting the trailer told them he was borrowing it from a friend.

It is probably to late now but next time I would suggest for the concrete anchors to use the Hilti chemical anchors. They come in a little pouch that you put in the hole and then the bolt mixes it on its way in. They are extremely strong and cure in about a minute. But the down side is you would have to order them because I have never seen them in a store.

Been following you for a while and have used you to brainstorm ideas for my business doing tilling bush hogging and other small tractor work and dumpster rental. The dumpster side is also just a small piece for me. The business would not survive without the other stuff I do. I used to get upset about the crackhead dudes with a dump trailer coming and underbidding but i see this in every industry. Tow truck industry is real bad about crack heads under bidding. I've adapted that i don't want the customers wanting the uninured non llc business cheap jobs. Maybe I am full of myself but I want quality customers that want a quality business t do business with. The "youtube saturators" can run their game and I'll run mine. I'll be in business longer anyway. Keep on keeping on. You are doing great.

How do you use another town or states landfill if you are not a resident of that town? I live in NH and I have tried to use other towns landfills but they tell me no because i am not a resident of that town. Did you have to setup a commercial account with different landfills or transfer stations or is there another way to go about it?

How much can that winch pull and do you think it will be reliable?

I've used them as back up winches to my main winch. Loaded several 5 ton loads without using a snatch block, no issues. I plan to basically leave a snatch block on this rig just to be safe.
